The planet is cloaked as I said in another thread. Obviously the cloaking spot/device is floating ahead of it, thus, much closer and much smaller. The ET on this world put the cloak there to see if we have any spaceballs. We don't. So, they will act accordingly, since w4e didn't even fly twp feet into space to the obvious place the cloaking device is at, thereby turning it off and revealing their world. Who can blame them for treating us as thrall when we are such spacefearing cowards as a world? Marxists will not be getting us to space, you see. These ET are far more livers of freedom and they really respect what we would call "guts" or "spunk" or "moxy". They positively worship it, kinda like the Predators from the film of fame. We've been given several archetypes for them, Predator is one, but the big Engineer from the recent Ridley Scott film, is also analgous to them. Super pissed off sometimes, like beserker rage. And, yes, Earth is to them, a very small gleaming gem, that they love very dearly and are obviously, bound to, like a paradise they return to every thousands of years or so. Relax, it'll be fun if we are up to the challenge.
