Black and queer privilege won the oscar, not the film itself. If Mel Gibson was a black queer, his film would have won. Those blacks should be pissed off at white hollywood that they won, knowing they should not have. They are being used by the white hollywood elitists, used like gay house negros. Blacks should be pissed off. |

They went to see moana and the star trek movie and those who went to see la la land just hated it....no one I know liked it and I asked everyone, no one even heard of moonlight until tonight. |

You just described most of the country. ^ The nominees this year were an uninspiried lot for the most part: "La La Land" is a vainglorious ode to old Hollywood, dressed up with liberal sentimentality. It's also exceedingly artificial and staged. "Moonlight" is all about some gay, mumbling Black kid. "Fences" has Denzel Washington screaming, rambling and babbling for literally three hours in a very poorly adapted-for-film stage play. "Manchester by the Sea" is a highly depressing story of a man whose kids all die, etc., whereby Casey Affleck mumbles for three hours. "Arrival" is a mind-numbingly boring and overwrought sci-fi pic that goes on and on forever with little happening. I did see "Hell or High Water" which is spectacular and should have won. "Hacksaw Ridge" is an amazing true WWII story of heroics directed by Mel Gibson. I'm a trained Remote Viewer. Quoting: Bill_Davis "Moonlight" is about a young black boy who grows up gay in a tough neighborhood. He later hooks up with a childhood friend who leads him to a homosexual encounter on the beach. The third act he becomes a drug dealer in Atlanta. It's received a bevy of sharply negative reviews on IMDB, which you can read here: [link to www.imdb.com] While the cinematography has received general praise, the plot, acting and dialogue has received a lot of negative reaction. It's hard to see how this was a better film than "Hacksaw Ridge", "Hell or High Water" or "Fences". I didn’t watch their award show but after seeing this thread I check out what happened. Something really weird happened tonight in Hollywood. It’s like the whole thing was a setup. :) |

This is the type of scenario where whites show love to blacks but at the same time glorify our acceptance of sin. A win-win if you ask me for those who are behind it. We are all the same right? |

It is more of a slap to the drug thug culture which will cause more violence in the end. All about influence THEY WANT VIOLENCE |
