Yvette Felarca sues Berkeley school district for alleged 1st amendment rights violations

Attorneys for BAMN, a national pro-affirmative action group, intend to file the lawsuit by next week on behalf of protesters who either experienced violence or were arrested despite claims of remaining peaceful at the demonstration.

According to BAMN attorney Monica Smith, the civil suit will seek compensatory and punitive damages from the university “because of these horrendous actions.”

“We are not going to let the police, this university, this city or this state get away with brutalizing and taking away the First Amendment rights of student protesters,” Smith said.

Yvette Felarca, a UC Berkeley alumna and the Northern California organizer for BAMN, who spoke at the press conference, was featured prominently in the viral YouTube video highlighting the violence that occurred on Wednesday and would be a plaintiff if the case is filed.

Theses people hear words that other people throw around, they don't know what they mean but think they sound cool. This was the kind of shit i did when i was a kid, I thought id know what words meant so id just say em a fit a context around them that i constructed.

this term "fascist" is getting so old, tired and boring. its become a meaningless label, because EVERYBODY who doesn't fall in lock-step with your own belief system is automatically a "fascist".

Someone needed to point out that she was actually describing Islam perfectly - a genocidal group of maniacs with the softer side lulling the mainstream to their death sleep.

So, if you actually listen to this woman, you quickly see the insanity that has gripped the left. Thanks to Tucker for revealing this. To believe with all of your heart a premise that is so devoid of fact is the true definition of batshit insanity. This is padded room level insanity. And this deluded nutcase is frigging teaching children!

You know, I'm all about free speech, but that is for people that have rational arguments on either side of an issue. These people have no rational argument, and they are busily inciting the easily influenced among society. As such, they have lost that right in my opinion. So, how do we honor our constitution while also ensuring that this poisoned rhetoric goes away?

Enforce the frigging laws already on the books! If we don't do this soon, I truly believe that we will be witness to a mass hysteria so irrational, so violent, many good people are going to be hurt or killed by these nut cases. But then, I'm keenly aware that is precisely what those on the wrong side of this want.

So, if Trump wants to save this country, he (and Congress) will immediately begin to enforce those laws against their so-called leaders spreading the talking points, and fueling the hysteria.

At the same time, normal Americans should be fighting these idiots in every legal way possible. File suit against this loon for slander, show up in force to their gathering places in the public domain and demand that they explain themselves with fact (because they can't) while videoing the encounter, show them disdain whenever possible, shun them, boycott them, move legally to remove them from their positions of power and influence, remove your children from their sphere wherever that may be, etc...

In short, if we don't all actively participate in the excising of this cancer, it will only get worse until there is nothing left.

THIS. I was greatly disappointed by TC not challenging her on any of the shit she was spewing. By remaining silent he lent her words creedence. Why didn't he call her out? That was really sad. My wife and I watch TC nightly and he always gets the best of these leftist fucks. But he was hands off with her. I joke with my wife that TC is probably the only man who is good enough at arguing to actually out argue a woman. I was wrong. He is normally such a vehement opponent of bullshit that I just can't believe what happened there.
