Thank you for bringing this up! I really enjoy checking in on it from time to time, and I believe it's very important.

As for why the spike? My guess is that so many people have only just recently started figuring out what most of us glpers already knew. That we are all being fed nonsense by those who wish to keep us in the dark for their own personal gain.
