Looks massive!

Could be a giant tomato saltwater drinker.

That looks like Scotland's first big storm of the autumn. Or more likely one of Iceland's. Either way, it's unlikely to strengthen much from there since we don't have a warm heat blob until it gets up towards the Barents.

Still, looks alarming, though!

Looking at the accuweather forecasting chart it looks like its going to span out and head up to Iceland.

Yea, plus an earthquake right off coast of NY and in South Carolina.

From the global viewpoint and location - it looks like the first ice-hurricane from 2004 movie 'The Day After Tomorrow' where 3 of them turned the entire northern hemisphere into solid ice.
