He refuses to acknowledge any of Ted Cruzs achievements for constitutional govt as a lawyer and a lawmaker, he refuses to honestly accept any valid criticism of Trump.

1) We all knew Ted Cruz was a phony, a jerk, an ugly asshole. So WHY did Donald hitch his wagon to Cruz for months? Because he was threatened by Ben Carson's rise in Iowa? Ben Carson is an absolute joke, Ted Cruz was always far more dangerous than Carson, both at the polls & in debates (Harvard debater). Absolutely stunning lack of foresight by Trump.

2) One of the many, many moronic, lazy things Donald does is adding knee-jerk, insincere "he's such a NICE guy". Bush is such a nice guy. Rubio is such a nice guy. Rick Perry is such a nice guy. Scott Walker is such a nice guy. Million nice guys in Donald's world. It's a bit like neurotic tic, like a mafia dude calling everyone "so and so is wise guy". Meaningless and stupid.

So when they inevitably stab Trump in the back....Donald looks like a hypocrite, liar or a fool when he goes after them -- you can see a religious Iowa voter gears grinding in their mind: "afterall, Ted Cruz is such a nice guy according to Donald, so why is he suddenly being such a jerk to Cruz, huh? It must be the polling numbers that scare Trump"

Cumulatively, it ends up making Donald look petty, flip-flopper and asshole.

At some point in this campaign, SOMEBODY is going to point out there's a muslim minorette now towering over the space that used to be the World Trade Center towers, at which point EVERYBODY will know exactly what was meant when Cruz referred to New York (City) values.
