I've been bit by a husky and aus shepherd really bad. I thought I needed stitches at first. You can still kinda see where the husky bit me on the top of my wrist. I was trying to break up a dog fight. A few hours after he bit me he came up to me and put his head on my lap. Those sad eyes looking up at me. Of course I forgave him! I loved that dog so much! He never bit me again. He lived to be 16. I've been bit by cats too. One of the nastier bites the owner chose to put her cat down. i respect and understand my father's decision. put in his shoes, i am absolutely sure i would do the same i had to have 32 stitches. he's praised, on occasion, the skill of the surgeon who put my face back together for good reason. right now, most people hardly notice the scar. few have lived through any semblance of my childhood of looking in the mirror, though the first time i met my trees' grandmother on their mother's side was when i first met the husky she grew up with named scorpio. it took me many years to understand how i had misplaced the source of her anxiety ado with that meeting. he had cataracts and was nearly blind, and was quite aggressive towards strangers. stranger danger and all that. i froze with fear when he started approaching the opened door. and he came right up to me, welcoming, curious and comfortable. because he could smell the fear. he knew he could make me his bitch. and that response had a lasting effect, warranting a second-guessing as to whether or not i could be trusted by the tree's mother he had camaraderie with. had i not been instilled with that fear, the trees i hold so dear may have never sprouted. |

He loved, loved, loved kittens. He would carry them around how mother cat does. Lick them, clean them. That dog was amazing. He was the one getting in the fight with the husky. He loved people and cats but did not get along with other dogs at all. Never bit any of us. When he was a pup he fell in the pool. He hated water after that. Previous owners named him after Jacques Cousteau. Cousteau was his name. :P |

It was brutal, like a huge chunk of her leg. She's luckily going to get a hefty settlement, but even then, she didn't want to see the dog put down. They sent it to this sanctuary for animals that have a lot of behavioral issues. I guess they just run around out there. I have both a german shepherd and a husky, the sweetest dogs you will ever meet, so I guess it's just about how they're socialized and their temperment |

She had a decent bite, but I think the random unprovoked nature of the attack scared her more then anything. She was ok with the 70kg Shepard with the nickname "bear", but couldn't bring herself to to relax around the 10kg staffy even after all that time had passed. Think it was the first one she'd allowed herself to be in close proximity with since then *Glitches May Occur. Consume(D) At Own Risk |

Some are more inclined to be family dogs, others more a guard dog with a single owner, But that's down to the dogs personality and temperament. Sounds like your mum was aware of that, and if an unprovoked attack, was definetly in the wrong hands. *Glitches May Occur. Consume(D) At Own Risk |

McCarrick, 90, was defrocked by Francis last year after decades of allegations that the globe-trotting envoy and successful church fundraiser had sexually molested adults as well as children. The Vatican took the extraordinary step Tuesday of publishing its two-year, 400-plus-page internal investigation into the prelate's rise and fall. It details how McCarricko often shared a bed at his New Jersey home with teenagers and puts the lion's share of blame on a dead saint: Pope John Paul II. You'll see some day, it wasn't.. For Whom the Bell Tolls Quoting: Louis in Richmond by John Donne No man is an island, Entire of itself. Each is a piece of the continent, A part of the main. If a clod be washed away by the sea, Europe is the less. As well as if a promontory were. As well as if a manor of thine own Or of thine friend's were. Each man's death diminishes me, For I am involved in mankind. Therefore, send not to know For whom the bell tolls, It tolls for thee. [This poem is in the public domain.] The Notre-Dame is burning. Likely influenced by the amount of players I'd end up muting 😂 Quoting: Sol-tari It's different with friends, or the happy occasions you come across a good squad/team on various games. Even gaming on WOW I spent 99% of my time grinding alone. Grouping in games gives me anxiety and waiting or relying on others, feels like a group project in school. But..I'll see if I can move outside my comfort zone. My blocks are pretty difficult to penetrate. Especially the first time. I do like we can have virtual avatars on VRChat. I wouldn't do it otherwise. Whole reason I chose my class was so I could solo grind the bosses along the quest line. Think I spoke on WoW once with voice chat for one of the massive raids. Think you'll do fine seer, and I'd be curious to know what kind of options are available with the avatar choice I know I will overthink it. As I do. In Solar Opposites he mentions the only reason to use the 'dumb ray' is overthinking. Overthinking about overthinking. Heh. [link to youtu.be (secure)] I did go into VRChat today for the first time.. After figuring out how to move around..I chose a room and went in. I muted my mic and walked around the space(Sunset something) and the only thing I could really take away from the experiences is there were a bunch of children in there. I could hear all of them talking and I'd say the youngest I heard sounded around 9 and one kid..around 12 wouldn't stop talking at all. He kept up a continuing dialogue ranging from people's butts(their avatars?) to someone being a 'disgrace to humanity'. As an adult..the last thing I want is to be in a room with a bunch of kids on VR. Personally I don't think children and adults should be paired up in rooms together whatsoever..in such a medium. That needs to be addressed stat. Other than that..I'll see if I can locate other rooms that don't allow children and adults to mingle together in a VR chat room.
