Thanks so much!! How are things in Jordan? We only get the MSM news (besides GLP which is much more informative). I hope you're safe and well.

Re: Just ONE Thing For My Birthday...Please??
To all the good GLP'ers near and far around the world....could you do just one thing for me for my 62nd birthday?!!??

Do or say one good thing to someone on this day. It could just be a smile, a touch of a hand, tell a joke and make someone smile, comfort a loved one who's sad, give your dog an extra treat, be a little more patient with someone you disagree with, buy a cup of coffee for someone down on their luck,...doesn't matter how insignificant you may think your gesture is...just do or say something that makes another feel better for a moment.
If even just five or ten people do this, this will be the best birthday I've ever had because it will mean, to me, that there is still some goodness out there.
Thank you for listening, folks. Warm wishes to all.

I have done what you asked. And may I say happy birthday to you. All I ask, is that you say the same to me too. I turned 58 today.

Would make me feel tons better, seeing as I haven't had a single birthday wish today.

As one of my "pay it forward's", I'm trying to find out if I can upgrade a few people for a month by just paying outright. I don't have Paypal and it will take me awhile to get enough green to do it. Mods? Anyone?

Happy birthday

I just helped someone out. I was at a McDonald's and saw an Obama sticker on this persons car and as I was walking by this lady was climbing in

so I said excuse me but someone must not like you because they put that sticker on your bumper to make you look like a moron. Have a blessed day.

I thought it was very nice of me but she didn't seem to appreciative.

People get pretty defensive about their views on stuff, especially politics but I suspect you knew that and did it anyway. That wasn't quite what I had in mind and I'm sure you knew that too. Maybe, next time, just open her car door for her and save the political commentary for someone who might be more receptive of various points of view. :-)

Yes, I did cure my Stage 4 cancer in two weeks when I was 48. I also reversed my chronic kidney disease (glomerulonephritis) when I was 25. In neither case were any medical treatments involved.
