God speaks to us humans, through nature, all the time... when I see a sparrow, it's reminded me of when, in the bible, it says that if God takes care of the little birds, then surely He cares for us also, and will meet our needs. Has to be a good omen. God bless! |

I remember reading that sailors got tattoos of sparrows for each trip across the Atlantic, and saw them as good luck. Hmm, yes, a good sign! They viewed them as a good sign because they never travel far from land, which meant when you saw one that you were close to land. I was sitting under a tree watching it, when it dropped down to my leg and looked at me. I wasn't at sea, but thinking about getting a sparrow tattoo now, since I was a sailor. I sign any red karma I give, because if it's important enough to give, then it's important enough to know who gave it to you. :Skullspud: |

I have looked into the eye of a bird before, and there seems to be wisdom there. I never saw wisdom in a parakeet before, but the sparrow looked me in the eyes, did the tilt from side to side like he was trying to figure me out, turned his back to me then about 10 seconds later flew up to his branch. He knew I wasn't going to hurt him I guess. I just felt amazed at the time. The only thing that ever came close to that was when a Monarch butterfly landed on my nose. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 68216903 Have had birds coming in the house for the past week. I think what it really means is my house is falling apart.
