This has to do with the difference in style of warfare. For western assault style it is better to have more time to push, while russian shock and hold strategy works best before winter. Porky waits for US weapons and new recruits to be trained by NATO, so springtime the show will go on. |

EU is out of the game and the US and Russia will match it out in spring, after the "lethal-defensive" aid has arrived. I fear the same, but aren't mercenaries paid for? It would be different when they were truly rogue, and I find that difficult to believe. User ID: 63736053 United States 02/13/2015 02:46 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The Munich Agreement was a settlement permitting Nazi Germany's annexation of portions of Czechoslovakia along the country's borders mainly inhabited by German speakers, for which a new territorial designation "Sudetenland" was coined. The agreement was negotiated at a conference held in Munich, Germany, among the major powers of Europe, excluding the Soviet Union and Czechoslovakia. Today, it is widely regarded as a failed act of appeasement toward Germany. The agreement was signed in the early hours of 30 September 1938 (but dated 29 September). The purpose of the conference was to discuss the future of the Sudetenland in the face of ethnic demands made by Adolf Hitler. The agreement was signed by Germany, France, the United Kingdom, and Italy. Sudetenland was of immense strategic importance to Czechoslovakia, as most of its border defenses were situated there, and many of its banks[citation needed] and heavy industries were located there as well. Prime Minister Chamberlain felt betrayed by the Nazi seizure of Czechoslovakia, realizing his policy of appeasement towards Hitler had failed, and began to take a much harder line against the Nazis. Amongst other things he immediately began to mobilize the British Empire's armed forces to a war footing. France did the same. Italy saw itself threatened by the British and French fleets and started its own invasion of Albania in April 1939. Although no immediate action followed, Hitler's invasion of Poland on 1 September officially began World War II. [link to en.m.wikipedia.org] |
