POROSHENKO ALREADY SAID IT IS "UNCONDITINAL". (MEANING NO REQUIREMENTS.) THE CEASE FIRE WILL NOT EVEN HOLD A FEW DAYS BECAUSE THERE ARE MERCENARIES ON BOTH SIDES. RUSSIA IS NOT IN CONTROL. POROSHENKO IS CRAZY. AND OBAMA WANTS WAR THERE.

That's what I am thinking..this thing is too close to just roll over and forget about it..This administration is hell bent on conflict with Russia it seems.

I would say until spring, it is just in place to get the EU-Russian conflict settled. EU is out of the game and the US and Russia will match it out in spring, after the "lethal-defensive" aid has arrived.

Porky and the seperatists don´t want to stop the fight, same is true for the US. Russia is satisfied with a neighbor that can´t join NATO or the EU, so it will reduce its direct influence.

Western military tends to attack after the winter, while russians start before winter. This has to do with the difference in style of warfare. For western assault style it is better to have more time to push, while russian shock and hold strategy works best before winter.

I fear the same, but aren't mercenaries paid for? It would be different when they were truly rogue, and I find that difficult to believe.

Yes, I had to look it up, but when I saw 1945 I realized it is another spiral although this time I fear much worse. And then again out of its trouble Jacob will be saved.

Well both where named after cities with an M in them, what are the chances of that?.... Minsk/Munich.. besides Nato moaning from Munich during the process certainly gave it that air of authentic false hope of "peace in our times"

@andersostlund: Minsk II doesn't mention Crimea so EU's and the US' talk about not changing borders by force etc is not worth much. Munich -38 part II.

The Minsk summit began on the 70th anniversary of the last day
of the "Big Three", Stalin, FDR, Churchill, 1945 Yalta Crimea

world. Feb 11 the "Big Three" released their agreement on how
to divide Europe into democratoc and communist zones... and set
the date and place for the organization meeting of the UN.
