This was murder, plain and simple. The officers were in no imminent danger.

No one can dispute this would never have occurred if the boy was white.

Oddly enough, dispatch seemed to care more if he was black or white rather than the clothes description the caller was giving...

One constructive thing Obama can do for this country is to push for cops to wear body cameras. I cannot imagine how that would not have broad bipartisan support.

In the phone call to dispatch after the shooting
the cop thought he was about 20 yrs old.

I guess the kid was big for a 12 yr old.
and they still did not know it was a toy.

A hand full of 911 calls from people who
reported a kid pointing a gun at them
when they walked by, also said they
didn't know if the gun was real or fake.

The 911 operator did not tell the officers
who reported to the scene that callers
did not know if it were real, or a toy.

Again.... It all starts in the home. His

What happens when criminals start to disguise real guns as fake guns. Not saying the cop here didn't seem trigger happy, but I was not there and in the shoes of this officer.

I heard the dispatch say this kid kept pulling his gun and pointing it at people. I did not see anyone there. For all we know this person (don't really know that it was a kid) was trying practicing pulling and aiming his gun. I know military men that do this. It's not to fire upon anyone.

The officer did not seem to give any warning nor did the kid pull his gun and aim it towards the officer. So there was really no threat at that point for the officer to fire.

I would need more details but first impression was this was cold-blooded murder.
