Oh the water wars in Nevada are ridiculous.
They've been so mismanaged. That's why it's so important
to get that lands transfer deal going (in the above post).

They are trying to get to get White Pine's water too.

yep the company i work or has full time people just to keep
all the water rights they do have its no easy task.
and trying to deal with the BLM to improve on anything is a joke.We sure need to get them out of states business

Did you get to see the Fly Gysers while you were there?
Not many people know about them as they are on private propery.
But you can see them from the road...just northwest of the flat.

Most seem hidden....or off the beaten path.

LoL....it's deceptive. It's not that big. As tall as a man.
But it sits up high making it look bigger. The platform it sits on
Is twice it's height.

Still pretty awesome. I have been to Nevada, not Reno or Lost Wages. I went camping. Pretty weird how cold it got at night, in a desert.

Carson City here, same ol same old...gambling, whores, meth, and murders.

As predicted yesterday, Tesla and the Neveda governor have confirmed that the gigantic battery Gigafactory that will make enough battery cells to power 500,000 electric vehicles per year will be located in Nevada. Governor Brian Sandoval and Elon Musk made the joint announcement, with the Governor saying that this investment in his state represents "nearly one hundred billion dollars in economic impact to the Silver State over the next twenty years" and that he called Tesla and Musk "21st century pioneers, fueled with innovation and desire" (how poetic).

Very good for Nevada.

Incline Village here (North Lake Tahoe). Beautiful area, just stay on the Nevada side :). I drive 2 miles down the road carrying 15 rounds in my glove box with one in the chamber and I'm a felon.

One of my favorite places in the world....Tahoe.
Just wish there wasn't so many damn people up there.

But that's the magic of living amongst the pines...
You can be on the beach and not even hear the traffic.
It just gets muffled away by the pines.
