Antoine Bechamp Vs. Louis Pasteur or Cell Vs. Germ Theory or What YOU Should Know about Disease!
"Pierre Jacques Antoine Béchamp, M.D., (October 16, 1816 - April 15, 1908) one of the world's foremost bacteriologists and Pasteur's contemporary, made great scientific discoveries and some of the greatest minds of his day accepted his theories and findings as definite established facts. Béchamp attained so many achievements that it took eight pages of a scientific journal to list them when he died. He also gave us The Cell Theory which states that, "Germs and viruses do not make us sick... they merely seek their natural habitat." Meaning that a body that is out-of-balance for any of the four reasons above will attract bacteria, viruses, fungus, and even mold to the already diseased tissue inhabiting that body.

Currently our medical establishment operates under what is called Louis Pasteur's (1822-1895) Germ Theory of Disease. Pasteur's Germ Theory states that viruses, bacteria, fungii, and mold invade our bodies and are the direct cause of illness. The Germ Theory has been accepted as truth in England and in America since the 19th century. It is firm, intractable and so entrenched into our collective subconscious that we never even think to question our doctor when he tells us that a virus or bacteria has made us sick.

It is not common knowledge that germs and viruses have no influence on live cells and tissue, whatsoever. They seek out dead, diseased and dying tissue in which to multiply and flourish. Armed with this knowledge, we would be in a much better position to protect our health - but that would then present a problem for the modern medical establishment because we wouldn't be forced to pay for pills and potions to destroy disease and bring us back into a healthful state.

What Pasteur gave us with his 'Germ Theory' was the ability for the global mega-medical complex to stretch and grow into the monster that it has become today. This cartel is now organized around the American Medical Association (AMA) to use the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to destroy every stitch of knowledge we have concerning alternative medicines. In America our own FDA is being used as a strong-arm policing force for Big Pharma, and it is fully sanctioned by our government.

While the greatest control lies with the most wealth, naturally the trillion-dollar-a-year pharmaceutical industry, this cartel also includes the National Institute of Health (NIH), the Centers For Disease Control (CDC), hospitals, and research facilities. The are all, in true conspiratorial style, in cahoots to rob you of your health and your money. And it has worked swimmingly for over 150 years.

But as Antoine Bechamp pointed out with his "Cell Theory of Disease", it is not the bacteria themselves that produce disease in the human body, but by a combination of four things:

1. Your body's acid/alkaline balance (pH)
2. Your body's electric/magnetic charge (negative or positive).
3. Your level of poisoning (toxicity).
4. Your nutritional status.

Rudolf Virchow, father of the germ theory, stated in his later years, "If I could live my life over again, I would devote it to proving that germs seek their natural habitat--diseased tissues--rather than causing disease." Pasteur and Paul Ehrlich (1854-1915) jointly gave to the civilized world the Germ Theory of Disease before vitamins, trace elements, and other nutrients had even been discovered. We are constantly breathing in some 14,000 germs and bacteria per hour. If germs are so harmful, why aren't we all dead?

Béchamp's biological work might then have revolutionized medicine with profound insight into the nature of life. But in a political world, he found himself up against Pasteur who was a skillful politician with wealthy connections. Antoinne Béchamp was a scientist, while apothecary Pasteur was a chemist with no education in life sciences, and as an adversary, he [Pasteur] plagiarized the research of Béchamp, distorted it, and submitted it to the French Academy of Science as his own! And by making Béchamp's premature research public, Pasteur was acclaimed as a scientific genius.

Pasteur was also responsible for much of the animal experimentation in medical research during that time
. Pasteur used preparations made from the diseased tissues of previously sick animals, thus making the injected ones sick. This gave the appearance that a germ caused a disease, when if fact these preparations were extremely poisonous. This is not a scientific procedure, but simply demonstrates the fact that you can make someone sick by poisoning his or her blood.

Based on his theory of micro-organisms, Béchamp warned emphatically against such direct and artificial invasion of the blood.

CELLULAR THEORY (Bechamp).

1. Disease arises from micro-organisms within the cells of the body.
2.These intracellular microorganisms normally function to build and assist in the metabolic processes of the body.
3.The function of these organisms changes to assist in the catabolic (disintegration) processes of the host organism when that organism dies or is injured, which may be chemical as well as mechanical.
4.Microrganisms change their shapes and colours to reflect the medium
5. Every disease is associated with a particular condition.
6. Microorganisms become "pathogenic" as the health of the host organism deteriorates. Hence, the condition of the host organism is the primary causal agent.
7. Disease is built by unhealthy conditions.
8. To prevent disease we have to create health.

GERM THEORY (Pasteur)

1. Disease arises from micro-organisms outside the body.
2. Microorganisms are generally to be guarded against.
3. The function of microorganisms is constant.
4. The shapes and colours of microorganisms are constant
5. Every disease is associated with a partciular microorganism
6. Microorganisms are primary causal agents.
7. Disease can "strike" anybody.
8. To prevent disease we have to "build defences".

Re: Antoine Bechamp Vs. Louis Pasteur or Cell Vs. Germ Theory or What YOU Should Know about Disease!
Béchamp and Pasteur:

Béchamp and Pasteur were both members of the French Academy of Sciences, and the papers they submitted, and their correspondence, both to each other and to other people, were all recorded. Even their verbal exchanges survive in the minutes of the meetings. Seldom has a lifetime of scientific and professional antagonism been so well and publicly documented.

Béchamp said that microzymas arose from within the bodyís cells because of changes occurring with the cell itself. The presence and state of the microzymas ó in other words their observed evolution to the state of being a virus or bacteria ó is therefore a symptom of disease, not the cause of it.

Pasteur, on the other hand, and as the world knows, argued that germs from the external world enter the body and cause the disease.

The difference between Béchamp and Pasteur is clearly seen through examining the reports they submitted to the French Academy of Science. This leads to three indisputable and striking conclusions:

1. Pasteurís reports on experiments and consequent deductions are all preceded by Béchampís, in some cases by several years. When Pasteur proclaimed to have found the answer to a pressing question it turns out that Béchamp had already clearly answered that question.
2. The quality control on Pasteurís experiments was poor and allows for unaccounted interference. In contrast, Béchamp had a rigid and structured approach to his experiments, which allowed him to answer his contemporaries more clearly and directly.
3. The deductions Pasteur made from his experiments were often far beyond the scope of the actual experiment and often turned out to be more speculation than science. As a consequence, Pasteur was caught out on several occasions changing his interpretation and statements to suit his case. Béchamp, on the other hand, never made a claim that he had not substantiated with sound scientific proof.

The reason why Béchamp was mainly ignored and Pasteur elevated to hero status is to be found in the different personalities and the lure of commercial success. Bechamp was a dedicated scientist and researcher, but he had no skills at politics and ass-kissing. Pasteur, on the other hand, was an expert at both. He ingratiated himself with the rich and powerful, and even became a favorite of French royalty.

Wonderful thread. Academic Science is not an angelical Virgin, but a skillful prostitute. This wonderful information (I've heard before that Pasteur was not a saint) reminds me the title of one of Martin gardner's books: "Science: Good, Bad, Bogus"... Egos, politics... and in the very last place, philanthropy.

By the rest, WE ARE ALIENS invading the planet's first inhabitants, viruses and bacteriae... HGWells warned us somehow in "The War of the Worlds", we are the martians, lol...

Thank you Sir Tim, that is my favorite bump smilie :-)

With the plagiarisms and the discussions being so well documented, it sparked my curiosity to read more. Antoine Bechamp reminds me of Tesla, in some ways, and so many others I guess.

Oh my gosh, I'll remember that (bolded/\) when I'm feeling extra feisty, I'm sure :-)

We are the Aliens w/the viruses/bacteria, I'll enjoy thinking on that.

Ty for the compliment, I like it too but I'm missing my old one and really wanting to re-upload it.

I have such a soft spot for Antoine Bechamp. I wonder how different things would be right now if we would have continued to build on his work. Or how different it will be when we do..

My friend, the bump post was posted! It's a real bump but a test too, because I was trying to post here and the posts weren't edited! I was trying to recommend you the excellent Brother Donkey about myths in the history of medicine and science (author Dunning)

I've received your PM, but I can't send ya one because I'm not upgraded. I can't make polls no more either by the same.

But your suggestion is excellent! Please, try it yourself, I'll post there for sure hf

Ohhh, I'm noting it, thank you. I know certain blogs won't post and certain links, maybe that was it(!).

Sorry, I can't believe I did that! - Okay, I was just finishing it up, thank you, it seemed I'd seen one before, and from you. :-) And it seems it may apply to what another poster and I were discussing on OMG.

Many thanks!
