Some guys in my high school took a raft down a river at night while it was raining really hard and flooding their inflatable raft burst and they were carried down stream some were under water for awhile and almost died. Anyway they were rescued by fire Dept but they were all.very sick from ingesting the sewer water that had overflowed at the time into the water. One boy was sick at least a year and lost tons of weight. Pathogens from sewer water are very dangerous.
