How do you know satan (if he exists) is evil.

You can only go on what you have been told. No proof either way to back up any theory on the subject, besides tales in a book.

Promethus, Lucifer, Venus, they are all the same thing.

Christianity is what made Lucifer into Satan.

Satan is purely a Christian concept.

I am not religious in the slightest. But for the sake of argument, lets say satan is not evil. Who knows, what if it is God who is the bad one. What if satan and all the fallen angels thrown out of heaven with him, were actually trying to overthrow God, because they kept witnessing his meglomaniacal behaviour to humans, killing them, telling them what the can and cannot do. God got all too powerful and full of himself, a bit like a dictator, these fallen angels thought he was corrupt and evil and tried to stop him, but because their army was to small, lost and were thrown out of heaven. After all it is God who lets all the evil go on in the world, maybe Satan and his lot think lets do all these bad deeds on earth, lets see when God will actually step in and stop it from happening, but he never does. The satan lot are trying to call Gods bluff, to show his merciful side, but it ain't worked yet.

The serpent, that old viper, is none other than Satan an adversary. That adversary is not a Christian concept. The devil with horns and a pitchfork is a myth of man accepted by many, including within processing Christianity.

Lucifer as a 'light bearer' stems from those who translated the Hebrew into Latin. The English made up word 'Lucifer' has no relation to the Hebrew, but only to the Latin words morphed into a new English word. Therefore, there never was a 'lucifer' nor a "light bearer". But keeping you in the dark, these shows like stated in the op want you to view 'him' and 'his' brand of knowledge as desirable - no different than in the garden

Yea............that's evil. The History channel has an agenda, and the show Ancient Aliens fits right into the evil plan also.

How about the bible was created to steer us in a direction that would benefit those who created human/humanoid race. Hey didn't they create humans to be a slave race?
Anyway, as I was saying, how about the bible is false? Not that it isn't 'real', only that it was created in part true and then truths were then bended, and we have all been deceived.

Maybe if our thoughts are the framework of our reality then we can perceive Satan one way or another and the same would go for the bible and you know this to be true when you look at all the branches of Christianity and even the leaders of churches have different takes on the bible.

Not intentionally, but God turns everything around on him and uses it for good.
