If you worked for 30 years and your disability is only $699 a month, you must have worked minimum wage jobs? Sure you ain't on SSI?

Also, I worked for the work. I couldn't have children and I didn't really care about owning a house or anything like that. The research was my goal. So I didn't really pay attention to the salary. For example... 21k a year for a job I could have gotten 40k for elsewhere but I wouldn't have had the opportunity to be involved in researching the material I was interested in. Your income is so low you need to check for medicare 'special help' in your state. Some one with your income can find all kinds of programs, if you look. I even get 10% property tax reduction.
