I definitely would like to go some time.

It has become a haven for hippies, artists, musicians and dancers and provides a week for people to explore artistic expression. No money is exchanged at the event; instead the festival-goers swap gifts to attain goods.

Burning man is a pagan ritual festival. It pays homage to the Viking ritual of the wicker man I believe. Where they would sacrifice living people to their gods by weaving them into a giant wicker man then setting it on fire. Many people don't realize this. Burning man is wicker man. I suggest not partaking in this ancient pagan ritual. But it's your choice...
