Keep her comfortable, give her water, and remember a great deal of pain in bedridden people comes from poor positioning. Do your best to help her lie well.

other wise, it is all up to God.

Sorry to hear about her situation, ask her if she wants to live longer or let herself pass.

First of all, Granny probably has far more important caregivers than the grandchild .

Second, even if you are the sole caregiver, you MUST take breaks.

As Solomon said those who have lived and died are better off than both the living and those yet to come. This world is absolutely wicked, painful and evil. She will be in a better place soon. Prayers sent that her last moments would be comfortable, and that the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses her from all sins.

My Father died 3 years ago due to cancer ( he was 42). He had Hotchkins Lymphoma and towards the end also got Lukemia had a drop foot and was on oxygen.

I was there in for the moment when he was passing and had to make the choice to turn off the oxygen and let him go or keep him on it and prolong his suffering for hours ( he was non responsive and moaning as if he was in horrible pain)

I miss the SOB but I know he's around interesting story a little off topic but for 3 days after he passed you could hear walking and a safe we kept with his coins in ( which my mom accidentally locked the combo in) would have the knob turn it never opened but you knew it was him messing around. but oddly enough all the activity stopped when he was cremated we got the death certificate and the date of cremation was 3 days after he died. So there is some form of spiritual life after death or something.

Sad to hear about your loss but just know she will no longer be in pain and can be in peace.
