Quoting: Sandi_T My daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes in Dec. of 2012, and she was ill leading up to it. It's been very difficult, and extremely painful. The month she was diagnosed, there had been 50 new cases within the last 30 days. Childhood diabetes has become as epidemic as type 2. You work so hard to do everything right. Filtered water. Low or no sugar. No HFCS. No vaccines... And yet, here we are. It is devastating. I know, I know... well, at least it's not cancer. At least it's not {insert whatever here}. That's not really that helpful. This sucks and it has been very hard. The "needle" icon is sadly apropos. Life the last few months has felt like this: It is devastating when diagnosed. My son was diagnosed at 8 years old. He is now 28. Its been a rollercoaster tryin to keep it in control. Dont be sad, prayers for you and your daughter. I tell myself it could be worse,..works for a little while. I will keep you in my thoughts. |

And she was diagnosed with type 1 as a child. She manages it well. She just watches what she eats. There is hope for her future and its not the worst of all diseases to have. My heart is with you and I wish you all the best ASMRtist |

Years ago, I was paranoid over Austim and vaccines so I read everything on how to protect my kid. Anyway, I've stumbled across diabetes type one link to vitamin d deficiency. Maybe vitamin d treatment may get it under control. [link to www.vitamindcouncil.org] |

That is most interesting. It just came up on my active list for no reason. Thought this was a new thread. Thanks! Martin Luther King . . .
