What if Satan was really the good guy? | |

Like, shoot him, he's the bad guy! No, shoot him, he's Satan! No, he's Satan, I'm Lucifer! It's all a lot more complex than we're normally told and it becomes sort of a he-said he-said thing. I suppose it would be Satan masquerading as Yahweh, then. "By their fruits you shall know them" and all that... One thing I think is interesting... You know how we have this idea of God whispering in one ear to do the right thing, and Satan whispering in the other ear to do the wrong thing? Consider the story of Abraham. God tells him to kill his son, because that would be pleasing to God. Okay... So Abraham decides he will. And it's beyond our ability to understand how this is right and God is still good, but let's just go along with it. So, God is telling Abraham to kill his son, because it's the good thing to do. If that's what God is telling him to do, what would Satan be telling him to do? "Don't kill your son!" OH the evil! That Abraham and Isaac story always bothered me, since I was a small child. The christian teachers at Sunday school would try and explain it to me and justify god's and Abraham's actions. I just thought the whole thing was fucked up. and Yahweeh, the god of Abraham, instituted the burnt offerings and daily sacrifice of thousand of innocent animals slaughtered in the holy temple for the appeasement of god and for the atonement of sins before this dictatorial god. innocent animals cruelly slaughtered for no reason except to appease god. and what about the sadistic story of Job??? But its all good cuz those who don't want to know the truth will NEVER figure it out. And thing is....it don't take alot of inquiry to figure out so this is why its allowed to remain a great deception.....so for those who could care less (christians and all the rest of believers) not until their lives get soooooo bad with suffering will they ever look to find out the truth. The very one they claim to follow told them to seek the truth and they still go throw $$$ at the slave drivers who preach to them on SUNday. |
