Caring about others isn't the problem. Being concerned about how your actions make others feel, isn't the problem.

These are good things in fact. Almost every time.

The problem comes then from two areas. First, people that are too dumb to realize that societies are always stronger working together. Yes, this is "them", but also "you".

The second problem here is that some people are trying to legislate good manners and compassion. That doesn't work in the long run. Now, don't get me wrong, the reason it doesn't work is because of morons messing things up, but when given a thing to resist, it's human nature to do so.

It takes high level intelligence to let go of that and move away from it.

In the mean time, we need to educate people, not order them to take actions they don't understand.

I don't know what you mean by your statements in the OP. People have offended all these groups. Each of them have offended the other at one time or another.

OP, will you give an example of what you mean? People have a right to call one another on their behaviors and statements; that's what the 1st amendment is all about. If someone is offended, they have a right of recourse- the right to stand up for that which they believe.

As an American, If you want a stop put to this, are you advocating the abandonment of the Constitution? I know I'm missing the point somewhere here- please fill us in.

People need to stop accommodating each other to make them fit in with society. Move to a place you agree with the customs and traditions that have been around for longer than your own damn existence. If you don't like things about a certain place, then perhaps you should move somewhere the fuck else. There's an idea. Until we get to the point where we all can accept each others views, opinions, ect without getting butt hurt about it, this is the way it needs to be.
