Vomiting every 3 or 4 hours for 3 days. Slept a bit. Massive body aches that I still have. Was sick beyond functioning for at least 10 days. After that, slow recovery with a set back every 3rd day or so. Horrible. Ginger ale helped. Water. Toast, noodles with a little butter after the 3rd day. Now eating Activia Yogurt. Lost a few pounds and inches. Skinny jeans fit well now. My body still aches and aches as if I had been run over by a mac truck repeatedly. I don't know if I will ever feel good again. |

Yeah, caught it once years ago from a salad bar. The outbreak was a big one. Turns out one of the restaurant employees also worked at a nursing home and went from there to the restaurant without washing hands properly (got feces bacteria on the salad). Isn't that just peachy? And I chose the salad because it was "healthy"! It was the sickest I ever was in my life. But it only lasted a couple days and then I was fine. Lots of water and rest should do the trick. |

If you cook the food, then eat it with clean utensils, you cannot get sick from it unless it is spoiled food. Whenever you touch a surface that is outside of your home, you are rolling the dice as to what virus or whatever could be on the surface. Norovirus can survive up to 2 weeks on flat surfaces.
