Anybody out there seeing any snow yet? All I've got blowing around is GIANT tumbleweeds!

Hey Texan Buckeye - thanks for the info! The front just hit down here...wind is out of the north and the temp is dropping. But our low is only supposed to be 27, real early tomorrow morning. But they have added a 30% chance of showers for before the temp gets below freezing.

Would love to see some of the white stuff, but folks here are just as crazy as in your area when it comes to driving with ANY moisture on the road!

Looks like ya'll are gonna get some "frozen pipe" kind of cold...stay warm up there!!!

Thanks, granny, you too! Got my heater on in the well house and the pipes will be dripping soon, so we should be ok. I don't know where the giant tumbleweeds come from, but they're on the fence line kind of like Attack of the Killer Tomatoes!LOL

Yep you're just two hours south of me and we're getting the same thing. We were supposed to get some snow but haven't seen it yet. These flippin winds are driving me nuts though! If there was snow with it, we would be in a blizzard right now! Brrrrr......

Amen to that! Love snow for maybe 1 or 2 days, once or twice a yer. And only on Saturday and maybe Sunday, so I don't have to get out on the road and fight the crazies!! lol

It's crazy in the DFW metro - when the reports even mention the possibility of snow, everyone rushes to stores to stock up!

Do you remember in 2010, the 11 inches of snow? That was extraordinary for the area.

Yeah, I do. My daughter lives in the area. She was driving in it and pregnant at the time. Scared me half to death.

I bet our little grocery store is out of bread, they always get shopped hard, even though it'll be gone in a day or so. Stay safe from the DFW crazies if you get snow. They drive crazy on good days!LOL

Well, guys...it's finally snowing here. Just little, bitty flakes, but like I said before...we'll take what we get! Sorry, I don't have any pics, it's too dark out here in the middle of the cotton fields!

I'll see what I can come up with in the morning. Make sure you give yourselves plenty of time to get where you're going tomorrow. You ALL know what it'll be like!

Here in DFW, strong winds out of NNW and 44 degrees . . . quite a change from our recent string of spring-like temps!

Lived in Lubbock for a couple of years back in the sixties. I well remember the red dust piling up at windows and doors after a dust storm and a tornado warning when we made our way down the alley in a pounding rain to a neighbor's cellar!
