I use borax in all loads of laundry I do. It really does work well. The funny thing is the only reason I bought it was to teach my sons about polymers (made bouncy balls). Now i use it on a near daily basis as a cleaning agent. Dont quite know about eating it though.... |

But you do not need to worry, the danger has been recognised and the necessary steps are already being taken to defuse the situation. I will start with the basics and you will understand what I mean as the story unfolds. Borax is a naturally occurring and mined mineral salt and the source of other manufactured boron compounds. The main deposits are in Turkey and California. Chemical names are sodium tetraborate decahydrate, disodium tetraborate decahydrate, or simply sodium borate. This means it contains four atoms of boron as its central feature combined with two sodium atoms and ten molecules (or sometimes less) of crystallisation water. All borax is naturally mined, there is no synthetic borax, the difference is only how much crystallisation water it contains - decahydrate means 10 water molecules, pentahydrate means 5, and anhydrite means 0 water; chemically it is all the same. that must be why its so hard to fimd. i also read something about soaking in it will defuse mogelions fungus, and other fugus. thank you for reminding me. I do have a little rosacea and some arthritis. Will try the dosage the article suggests and will write my discovery. |

I am only 39 and already showing some signs of arthritis in my spine and finger joints. I love the idea of natural vs. chemical treatments. I would be scared to drink Borax though, only because I've done experiments with my children with it and I've seen what can happen when you mix it with glue and water, lol. In all seriousness, I would love to try this and would like to know if you've personally tried it yourself and if so, what were your results? Thank you for the article, it is full of great and useful information. |

In it is says to use 1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon (women requires low dose 1/8 then men 1/4 because of their size) per liter of water, determine if that remedy is helping you, and it doesn't require a long time, you should know within 3 to 7 days at the most But if you have questions go to the article I listed and read it for yourself. |

I have a doctor that is open to alternative cures looking into it deeper. From the article, it sounds like a boron suppliment would work, except it doesn't have the antiviral or antifungal properties. If you are just trying to cure arthritis or osteoporosis, the boron should work just as well. I will be trying this. If I had known I would live this long, I would have taken better care of my body. Now arthritis is becoming a concern. Every injury from the last half century is coming back to haunt me. This could be exactly what I have been looking for. Quoting: Epic Beard Guy Start taking baking soda to get yourself alkaline. You are too acid and your body is leaching the calcium from your bones to try to get you more alkaline. Vegetables will help with alkalinity but most of us don't eat enough and are just under too much stress for them to keep us alkaline. Take 1/2 teaspoon in water in the morning and the evening. At least 30 minutes after or before eating. This should help with your arthritis so your bones can start repairing themselves. You can take this three times a day if you like for at least a week or so and then go down to twice a day. You can also buy urine test strips to test the alkalinity of your urine. It should be between a 7 and 8. Anyway, twice a day should be fine and works for most people. |

I also take coral calcium and magnesium. This with borax should help my joints and bones, I think. I'm sure my body is not acidic with all that, but I'm thinking borax might make the whole package work. Hope for the best, but prepare for the worst. "America is at that awkward stage. Do not use Arm and Hammer as it contains aluminum. They claim it does not but under chemical examination, it does, and aluminum is a heavy metal. Get Bob's Red Mill backing soda and powder either online or your natural food store. It is pure. Keeping in mind that no disease can live in an alkaline body, the consumption of baking soda will help alkalize your body, along with the proper foods. Cancer is a fungus and oxygen is its enemy. William Wordsworth And yet the same revolutionary beliefs for which our forebears fought are still at issue around the globe—the belief that the rights of man come not from the generosity of the state, but from the hand of God. One looks to pauperism, ignorance, depopulation, and barbarism; the other to increasing wealth, comfort, intelligence, combination of action, and civilization.
