Our solar system is going through a highly energized region of space right now. The Milky Way is a disk, with much of its material in a plane around it. Well, we are passing through this field now. A "wave" if you will. This wave of energy is going to really piss off the sun. I would also imagine, there is going to be some debris along the way. Probably in the form of meteors, comets, etc. Things are progressing. Just look around. The animal deaths, the odd temperatures, where did all the money go? This is what many books, religions, civilizations, etc. were talking about. It is approaching. Get right with yourself, and your "god". Remember we are infinite. There is nothing to fear about the change (death or otherwise). Namaste

What would the sun (a huge ball of energy) do if it passed through a highly ionized region of space? What sits around Saturn in a disk, very much like a spiral galaxy. Can you imagine what it would be like for a moon of Saturn to pass through some of those rings? What happens if our solar system goes through something similiar (although not as dense)? Because the sun is going to be pissed, along with extra "stuff" in our general region of space, there are bound to be earthquakes. Very large ones. Large enough to activate several volcanoes (dormant and active). The scale of all this, I am unsure of. One can hope for minor incidents (electrical failure, a few 9.0's, 1 or 2 volcanoes, a few thousand dead), or this could go very bad (10+, massive electrical failures, tsunamis miles high, hundreds of volcanoes, death in the billions). We only have records of quakes for a short period of Earth's life, while it moved through the relative calm of space. To pass through the compact disc of the galactic plane we will be shaken like a rag doll. Probably stopped in our rotation and possibly reversed for a short period of time. Earthquakes will be accompanied by tsunami's and volcanic eruptions world wide. This will be a continent shaping event, or series of events that will make the survivors realize we are one world, not a country. So far man has been on vacation, able to chose our course of life.
