I enjoyed it; it was a pretty well-turned story. Quoting: tandym What struck me the most while watching the film was the moment after Katniss (the main character) 'buries' one of her compatriots**, then turns around to the camera and gives it (and the audience from District 11) the 3 fingered salute -- which sparks a rebellion. As I watched the rebellion unfold I was struck with this thought: "It will be exactly like this" (when TS finally HTF) **(sorry trying to do this with as few spoilers as possible) Thoughts? It was a well-done movie and enjoyed it. I agree about the rebellion. Only when we've been pushed too far would we ever do anything close. I think we are kept at that precipice but never pushed over the edge, just to make sure this is avoided. Remember when President Snow said something to the effect that the people need hope, but not too much. |

Outside of that, the movie was great, but some of it was pretty disorienting with the camera movement and shakiness, hopefully the second one will fix that. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 7148275 I agree about the shakiness. We sat too close to the screen, and it took some getting used to. |
