Wow you must really know your Bible, I have started studying with a pastor that is really teaching me a lot, but I still don't know all I need to know, but I will keep studying. Maybe my study tools will come today in the mail. Can't wait to get them.

Look on the net and go to youtube. Do a search on the words "Song of Moses" and you will see some have created music to the victory songs. Quite cool I will add.

The music makes you remember the words. My wife and I went to a church and she was asked to stand up and give the church a bit of wisdom. Pastor got more than he could handle when my wife recited the victory songs all by heart, "memory". And she marvels at how I can remember the bible like I do.

I have been for years trying to get Christians here on glp to learn the "victory" songs. Many of them are like "Jeshurun" and wax fat and kick against the Lord.

They don't even know they are doing it and that is the sad sad part about it all. "Oh I love the Lord", they say, but never ever get around to really learning the truth of the whole book.
They only take bits and pieces and want to be spoon feed the rest. lol Just like a Jeshurun...

OP, Jacob didn't only question God, he wrestled with Him. He learned something vital from that encounter and came out a changed person, and only then was he named Israel.

So in Ezekiel chapter 13 God says what He says to you personally in Eze. 13:17 to 23.

You remember that it wasn't Jacob that jumped the Lord bu the Lord that jumped him during the wrestling match.

Remember that Jacob was about to meet Esau his brother he feared was about to KILL him.

The Lord showed up to wrestle Jacob to ease his nerves to show him that he can put his confidence in the Lord, because the Lord is with him.

He survived wrestling with the Lord!
He can surely survive an encounter with his brother because the Lord is with him and will help him.

I believe sometimes the Lord gives conflict to people to shake them out of their fear or nervousness, to center people on what really matters.
