Without knowing my father's blood type, I suppose I wll never know for sure, but I'm convinced. All types of bizarre coincidences have happened that would make me question if they somehow got myself and another child mixed up at the hospital. This was in the 50's when they really had no identity safeguards put into place. One reason they are so strict these days, is because of the multiple mix-ups they've had in the past. I've checked, and on the day I was born, 8 other babies were born at that hospital. So why do you ask OP? I hope you aren't wondering that for yourself, and definitely hope you aren't worried about this for your own child. That would be a horrifying thing to happen. To be honest, I don't know where I got such a notion, but I really was terrified that it would happen. Looking back, it seems a peculiar thing to even consider, but it was very real to me at the time. Whatever the reason you asked OP, I hope you find peace. I was exactly like this when my kids were born. I made my husband follow the nurses everywhere when they had to do anything with my babies. There's no doubt they're mine though, they both look just like me. |

There's no doubt they're mine though, they both look just like me. oops, I'm a little late getting back to this, but there is something to be said for Mother's Intuition. You guys did good.
