No, it just shows how controlled and manipulated our press really is by major corporations who control most of the votes in DC. If a major corporation doesn't outright own the media syndicate then they control the advertising and threaten to pull advertising for information they deem unacceptable.

It's a very sad statement about the state of journalism in our country today, where they only report the news beneficial for the status quo. In fact, only independent journalism on the internet is doing the job the press formally was doing, that if informing the populace instead of brain washing them.

so it's a conspiracy to distort the facts,even if they are forced to by corporations.

And, again this is a reflection of the sickness and decay within our economy where major corporations are so tied/integrated to our government they control the votes which mandate regulation and regulatory agencies.

This system of ours is truly a media/hollywood production. On the outside it parades as a capitalistic free market democracy with just "enough" socialism thrown in for good measure (central planning and entitlements) while on the inside (how things really work) it has every feature of a fascist system.

I don't think it's a conspiracy, a conspiracy implies some illusion, some clever trickery and back room dealings. This is just in your face control of information and a lethargic, apathetic public that could really, frankly, care less.
