When I read that article I knew right away it was a joke and didn't sound right.

They didn't provide much details at all, and alot of you guy's should of atleast question that.

He just said a few lines and that is it, didn't say how or when he believed it was going to end.

it's funny out of that 70's show he's the one who made mass cash, the dizzy girl friend of his in the 70's show went on to do some movies, but short of the old guy, that other guyfather who was in a ton of startrek movies, is like,
just fucking fuck the stupidest people on the show went on to make more movies

its just a phase soon youll be as cynical and jaded as i am trust me. the world will not end. its pure human arrogance that makes us think this way. like we can destroy an entire planet. right. who do we think we are? we are a speck in a infinite universe you really think anyone give a fuck about us? are we so important in the grand scheme of things this little rock floating in the void?

anyway heres and exercise: go outside look around. take a deep breath. look as far as your eye can see. look at everything. how far you can see everything around you. now realize theres a whole planet out there. realize the planet is much more than you can see. much much more. the world in its entire totality will never be destroyed all at once. its too big theres too much of it. we cant even see the forest for the trees

That's how you know it wasn't a joke. First off why would they joke about stuff like that? Makes no sense and second if he was joking why there was need to say it was a joke because usually we never have any kind of Doom, so people automatically assume it's a joke.

Maybe Lucas isn't smart enough that he was speaking about Doom to public, or he is understanding the futility that's likely coming and he got relaxed and sincere for once.
