Haha damn, I watched that movie at a filmhouse with my brother a couple of years back. Wanted to try to some more obscure movies, we NEVER did that before. Stayed to regular cinemas since, felt let down a bit I guess. I wasn't into all this stuff at the time though... Might check it out again, maybe I'll be able to make more of it now. Did you see it?

I did...the movie was visually beautiful but it did not do justice to the books...

I'm so wow'ed by this thread I can hardly bring all my thoughts together in a manner that could actually be coherent in written word.

Let's just say I have been on a journey. Recently long blocked doors, realms, spaces, however you dare to describe it, have begun to open. I have been doing some breathing, meditation, and yoga exercises lately. Quit smoking and trying to eat right....

Yesterday while doing some light yoga I suddenly realized that most of the poses were things I used to do naturally as a child while being entertained by the television. I have mostly gone unguided in my meditation practices until recently and I have found that I have been doing most of these things naturally. That the guides are telling me to do things I already knew somewhere deep inside. I mean guides as in internet, books, mp3s not spiritual guides.

Luna great thread.. It seems like a huge blast of affirmation to the things that I have been experiencing lately. I have so much synchronicity going on with this I can hardly describe what is going on in my head.


As far as your experience goes. I had only one occasion that I can remember that came close to your experience. I was in the hospital and the doctors were giving me tylenol with codien in it for pain. I was napping and was semi-concious. I heard and felt a large crack in the middle of my head and felt the tumbling sensation. Then I was awake. I don't recall any visions before the experience sorta like a dream you can't remember. I seriously told the nurse on duty because i thought it was a reaction to the drugs they were giving me. I have heard of this same crack, crunch being experienced by others with OBE's. I don't know if that is what happened to me but yours was obviously an OBE.

Good post,though I expect it will not be well received. I have found folks do not want out of whatever box they live in, even though they see something amazing happen in front of their eyes. For example, if someone was shown that just by concentrating, they could move an object with their mind, you would think they would go home excited, wow, I am like a god! No, they, turn around and get back into the norm, yes or no. Emphatically yes, people don't care unless they are seekers.

I say this as I just for the hell of it, or I should say was driven to improve, learned telekinesis as a start. I did not do this through meditation, but just will. When almost anyone comes into my home, they can do it as well. Most astounding! This can only be explained by them being near me in the physical sense. I call this spiritual connecting and learning. None so far give a crap and don't find it worth thinking about. Talk about being programmed!

I would say to anyone listening to just expand and find out your power. That said, you will need to ignore almost everyone in your endeavor as most people will look at you as a nut, or try to stop you in some way.

Whatever, be positive, turn off the tv, stop listing to the negative people whom dominate our world and get with it. Ok, now it is time for a negative comment from the sewer to pop in.

a bit geeky because scientists are writing but the good thing , i believe, is that science is getting it`s head around accepting what you guys are experiencing is real and natural

I don't care if it never meets the eye of everyone here at GLP...it's more about the eyes of the people that it will matter to that I care about.

Interesting video, a bit rare in a Doctor (her spelling)….and its like what I read about taking drugs ... .. one of my dreams was to experience the total silence, and half awake I said… !! is this¡¡ but , you go down from the cloud and realize that only changes the world that YOU experiences .... for now, everything stays the same around you, including opposites.

What I got out of this lecture is, that we should try to be more connected to the world and the people around us. And not let ourselves be guided by cold reason alone, but to let our intuition/hearts have a voice as well. In this way we can become the change we seek to instill in others. That's just my interpretation of it, nothing more.

It's not like a 'level' of awareness...it's just being who you are...as natural...and simple...and uncomplicated...how we were intended to be. And it's not about lookey me...don't get sidetracked by that...don't look at others and wish you were 'like' them....

There is a difference in admiring someone for who they truly are and admiring someone because you wish you were like them.

YOU are unique and wonderful and just as important to the world as anyone else is...
