Ok - well - we're still stuck at your fanciful unproven accusations of genocide...

No, we aren't, because there is as much proof provided above as there is proof of the Holocaust. Furthermore, there was no stipulation of the Middle East in ANY previous conversation... again, deflect the proof with preconditions not stated? Not likely.

You have been deflecting, and you NEVER answered my question. As you are well aware, I requested a PERSONAL definition of Anti-Semitism, which you CANNOT provide.

I don't have personal definitions of words - I subscribe to full definitions from the dictionary.
What is so hard to understand? Do you make up your own definitions???

You avoided my question, and didn't answer anything. You can't deny, or twist, the facts in this case. You obviously have no training in logic... not your fault, and I certainly don't blame you for that. And while you certainly stick to SOMEBODY ELSE'S guns, you've yet to show any real sign of being reasonable. Shame, because I SOMETIMES get the sense that behind the rhetoric there's a decent mind... I think it's sad that you strive to hide it.

Here this is the European Union definition:

Working definition: ``Antisemitism is a certain perception of Jews, which may be expressed as hatred toward Jews. Rhetorical and physical manifestations of antisemitism are directed toward Jewish or nonJewish individuals and/or their property, toward Jewish community institutions and religious facilities.''

In addition, such manifestations could also target the state of Israel, conceived as a Jewish collectivity. Antisemitism frequently charges Jews with conspiring to harm humanity, and it is often used to blame Jews for ``why things go wrong.'' It is expressed in speech, writing, visual forms and action, and employs sinister stereotypes and negative character traits.

Contemporary examples of antisemitism in public life, the media, schools, the workplace, and in the religious sphere could, taking into account the overall context, include, but are not limited to:

Calling for, aiding, or justifying the killing or harming of Jews in the name of a radical ideology or an extremist view of religion.
•Making mendacious, dehumanizing, demonizing, or stereotypical allegations about Jews as such or the power of Jews as collective - such as, especially but not exclusively, the myth about a world Jewish conspiracy or of Jews controlling the media, economy, government or other societal institutions.
•Accusing Jews as a people of being responsible for real or imagined wrongdoing committed by a single Jewish person or group, or even for acts committed by nonJews.
•Denying the fact, scope, mechanisms (e.g. gas chambers) or intentionality of the genocide of the Jewish people at the hands of National Socialist Germany and its supporters and accomplices during World War II (the Holocaust).
•Accusing the Jews as a people, or Israel as a state, of inventing or exaggerating the Holocaust.
•Accusing Jewish citizens of being more loyal to Israel, or to the alleged priorities of Jews worldwide, than to the interests of their own nations.

Examples of the ways in which antisemitism manifests itself with regard to the state of Israel taking into account the overall context could include:

•Denying the Jewish people their right to selfdetermination, e.g., by claiming that the existence of a State of Israel is a racist endeavor.
•Applying double standards by requiring of it a behavior not expected or demanded of any other democratic nation.
•Using the symbols and images associated with classic antisemitism (e.g., claims of Jews killing Jesus or blood libel) to characterize Israel or Israelis.
•Drawing comparisons of contemporary Israeli policy to that of the Nazis.
•Holding Jews collectively responsible for actions of the state of Israel.

"Since 1997 the Arab group at the United Nations has been trying to invoke the Fourth Geneva Convention against Israel, in regard to its settlements in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, and in particular at Har Homa in Jerusalem. The UN General Assembly has adopted a number of non-binding resolutions condemning Israeli settlements, and calling for a convening of the signatory nations of the Fourth Geneva Convention. In February 1999, the GA adopted a resolution calling for a special UN session to be held on July 15, 1999, in Geneva to examine "persistent violations" by Israel.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 873257

So that is your proof of genocide - Arab groups trying ...

and the UN voting NON BINDING RESOLUTIONS?

Sorry - this is no proof of genocide.

Israel rejects the interpretation of the Fourth Geneva Convention applying it to Israeli settlements in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, stating that those territories were captured in 1967 as a result of a defensive war against countries which had illegally occupied them since 1948."
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 873257

You go to war against Israel - you lose - you lose territory. No proof of Genocide.

And again, we do not see "Israel denies allegations, providing proof." No, we see "Israel rejects the interpretation of the Fourth Geneva Convention"
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 873257

Well anyone can reject the 'interpretation' of a 'convention' - If the interpretation is not right - nothing wrong with that.

So, again, much in the same way as YOU deflect truth here, Israel has said "It applies, just not to US."

You can't have it both ways...
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 873257

I'm still waiting for proof of Genocide...

EXACTLY! If you can't think for yourself, have no real answers, or facts, and yet INSIST that you're right... then IGNORE those that might open the eyes of others to your pitiful lack of real belief, knowledge OR conviction.

Do as you've obviously done with SO much knowledge, both historical and present... let it pass.

WRONG!..he thinks more than you do, JADR knows a lot, and you should be thanking him for the free lessons he is teaching here.
He has ANSWERS, FACTS, LINKS.
If you want to open the eyes of others you might need to post great threads like this one.

Israelis and Palestinians Muslims, Christian and Jews.
Jerusalem is ours, Israelis and Palestinians Muslims, Christian and Jews.

Our Jerusalem is a mosaic of all the cultures, all the religions and all the periods that enriched the city, from the earliest antiquity to this very day - Canaanites and Jebusites and Israelites - Jews and Hellenes Romans and Byzantines, Christians and Muslims, Arabs and Mamelukes, Othmanlis and Britons, Palestinians and Israelis.
They and all the others who made their contribution to the city have a place in the spiritual and physical landscape of Jerusalem.
Our Jerusalem must be united open to all and belonging to all its inhabitants, without borders and barbed-wire in its midst.
Our Jerusalem must be the capital of the two states that will live side by side in this country, West Jerusalem the capital of the State of Israel and East Jerusalem the capital of the State of Palestine.
Our Jerusalem must be the Capital of Peace
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 849758

Oh yes, in Jerusalem all the religions seems to open a branch in there.
You can walk along the Arab quarter and visit mosques, walk along the Christian quarter and walk along the Via Dolorosa, walk along the Jewish quarter and get into the Western Wall, you can walk along the Armenian country and visit churches....go and walk, is open, everyone is going there to visit and buy souvenirs.
But Jerusalem is the capital of the State of Israel, that, will never change.

 Quoting: JADR

You just CAN'T leave well enough alone, can you? Seeing as some people seem incapable of following a LINK... here you go.

(from “Tackling America’s Toughest Questions,” now at Amazon.com)

As long ago as October 19, 2000, the then United Nations Human Rights Commission (now Council) condemned Israel for inflicting “war crimes” and “crimes against humanity” upon the Palestinian people, most of whom are Muslims. The reader has a general idea of what a war crime is, so I am not going to elaborate upon that term here. But there are different degrees of heinousness for war crimes. In particular are the more serious war crimes denominated “grave breaches” of the Fourth Geneva Convention. Since the outbreak of the first Intifada in 1987, the world has seen those heinous war crimes inflicted every day by Israel against the Palestinian people living in occupied Palestine: e.g., willful killing of Palestinian civilians by the Israeli army and by Israel’s illegal paramilitary settlers. These Israeli “grave breaches” of the Fourth Geneva Convention mandate universal prosecution for the perpetrators and their commanders, whether military or civilian, including and especially Israel’s political leaders.

But I want to focus for a moment on Israel’s “crimes against humanity” against the Palestinian people—as determined by the U.N. Human Rights Commission itself, set up pursuant to the requirements of the United Nations Charter. What are “crimes against humanity”? This concept goes all the way back to the Nuremberg Charter of 1945 for the trial of the major Nazi war criminals in Europe. In the Nuremberg Charter of 1945, drafted by the United States Government, there was created and inserted a new type of international crime specifically intended to deal with the Nazi persecution of the Jewish people:

Crimes against humanity: namely, murder, extermination, enslavement, deportation, and other inhumane acts committed against any civilian population, before or during the war, or persecutions on political, racial or religious grounds in execution of or in connection with any crime within the jurisdiction of the Tribunal, whether or not in violation of the domestic law of the country where perpetrated.

The paradigmatic example of “crimes against humanity” is what Hitler and the Nazis did to the Jewish people. This is where the concept of “crimes against humanity” came from. And this is what the U.N. Human Rights Commission determined that Israel is currently doing to the Palestinian people: crimes against humanity. Expressed in legal terms, this is just like what Hitler and the Nazis did to the Jews. That is the significance of the formal determination by the U.N. Human Rights Commission that Israel has inflicted “crimes against humanity” upon the Palestinian people. The Commission chose this well-known and long-standing legal term of art quite carefully and deliberately based upon the evidence it had compiled.

Furthermore, the Nuremberg “crimes against humanity” are the historical and legal precursor to the international crime of genocide as defined by the 1948 Genocide Convention. The theory here was that what Hitler and the Nazis did to the Jewish people was so horrific that it required a special international treaty that would codify and universalize the Nuremberg concept of “crimes against humanity.” And that treaty ultimately became the 1948 Genocide Convention.

Article II of the Genocide Convention defines the international crime of genocide in relevant part as follows:

In the present Convention, genocide means any of the following acts committed with intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnical, racial or religious group as such:

(a) Killing members of the group;

(b) Causing serious bodily or mental harm to members of the group;

(c) Deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part;

….

As documented by Israeli historian Ilan Pappe in his seminal book The Ethnic Cleansing of Palestine (2006), Israel’s genocidal policy against the Palestinians has been unremitting, extending from before the very foundation of the State of Israel in 1948, and is ongoing and even intensifying against the 1.5 million Palestinians living in Gaza. Zionism’s “final solution” to Israel’s much touted “demographic threat” allegedly posed by the very existence of the Palestinians has always been genocide.

Certainly, Israel and its predecessors-in-law—the Zionist agencies, forces, and terrorist gangs—have committed genocide against the Palestinian people that actually started on or about 1948 and has continued apace until today in violation of Genocide Convention Articles II(a), (b), and (c). For at least the past six decades, the Israeli government and its predecessors-in-law—the Zionist agencies, forces, and terrorist gangs—have ruthlessly implemented a systematic and comprehensive military, political, and economic campaign with the intent to destroy in substantial part the national, ethnical, racial, and different religious (Jews versus Muslims and Christians) group constituting the Palestinian people. This Zionist/Israeli campaign has consisted of killing members of the Palestinian people in violation of Genocide Convention Article II(a). This Zionist/Israeli campaign has also caused serious bodily and mental harm to the Palestinian people in violation of Genocide Convention Article II(b). This Zionist/Israeli campaign has also deliberately inflicted on the Palestinian people conditions of life calculated to bring about their physical destruction in substantial part in violation of Article II(c) of the Genocide Convention.

Article I of the Genocide Convention requires all contracting parties such as the United States “to prevent and to punish” genocide. Yet to the contrary, historically the “Jewish” state’s criminal conduct against the Palestinians has been financed, armed, equipped, supplied and politically supported by the “Christian” United States. Although the United States is a founding sponsor of, and a contracting party to, both the Nuremberg Charter and the Genocide Convention, as well as the United Nations Charter, these legal facts have never made any difference to the United States when it comes to its blank-check support for Israel and their joint and severable criminal mistreatment of the Palestinians—truly the wretched of the earth!

The world has not yet heard even one word uttered by the United States and its NATO allies in favor of “humanitarian intervention” against Israel in order to protect the Palestinian people, let alone a “responsibility to protect” the Palestinians from Zionist/Israeli genocide. The United States, its NATO allies, and the Great Powers on the U.N. Security Council would not even dispatch a U.N. Charter Chapter 6 monitoring force to help protect the Palestinians, let alone even contemplate any type of U.N. Charter Chapter 7 enforcement actions against Israel – shudder the thought!. The doctrine of “humanitarian intervention” so readily espoused elsewhere when U.S. foreign policy goals are allegedly at stake has been clearly proved to be a joke and a fraud when it comes to stopping the ongoing and accelerating Israeli campaign of genocide against the Palestinian people.

Rather than rein in the Israelis—which would be possible just by turning off the funding pipeline—the United States government, the U.S. Congress, and U.S. taxpayers instead support the “Jewish” state to the tune of about 4 billion dollars per year, without whose munificence this instance of genocide – and indeed conceivably the State of Israel itself – would not be possible. What the world witnesses here is (yet another) case of “dishumanitarian intervention” or “humanitarian extermination” by the United States and Israel against the Palestinians and Palestine. In today’s world genocide pays so long as it is done at the behest of the United States and its de jure or de facto allies such as Israel.

My apologies to others for posting the whole thing here.

Now, JADR, there are yet MORE facts for you... direct quotes from the Geneva Convention, correlation between those quotes and the illegal actions of the Zionist regime (which I have NEVER confused with the Jewish people, BTW) and before you say "They were never charged," be VERY careful what you ask for. There are your facts, and clear as day.

Here's what its about.
Professor A. R. Butz was the first (and so far the only) writer to treat the entire Holocaust complex from the Revisionist perspective, in a precise scientific manner. This book exhibits the overwhelming force of historical and logical arguments which Revisionism had accumulated by the middle of the 70s. This new edition comes with several supplements adding new information.

The first book to treat the central questions of the Holocaust allegation -- the evidence for a German extermination program, for mass killings by poison gas, and for the deaths of some six million Jews -- with academic rigor, The Hoax of the Twentieth Century created Holocaust revisionism as a discipline with its appearance in 1976. Few professional historians could have devised the brilliant investigative strategy that is central to The Hoax: author Arthur Butz's focus on the information long available to the Allies on the operations of Auschwitz, a strategically important petrochemical center (Butz correctly surmised the existence of U.S. aerial photos of the camp years before it was admitted). The Hoax's several chapters on the question of Allied knowledge of Auschwitz have busied orthodox experts for nearly three decades with trying to explain how mass operations seem to have gone unnoticed for several years -- to no avail. The Hoax remains at the center of the revisionist inquiry, valuable even in those few areas in which it has been superseded by subsequent revisionist research: a book that, especially in this handsome new design and printing, needs to be read, and re-read, then read again, by every serious revisionist.

Many of the facts they present are compelling. For instance, no one can really pinpoint where the "six million" figure arose and the sheer logistics of murdering six million people (during a war where supplies and manpower were scarce) are hard to swallow.

The attacks on Mr. Butz are disturbing. This author is entitled to express his views. The Holocaust is the ONLY event in history that one is forbidden from questioning or probing. Why??? Why is this event any different from the many other genocides that have been committed in history? (For instance, the mass murder committed by Bolsheviks during the Russian Revolultion, to name only one.) In terms of numbers, Stallin killed a staggering twenty million individuals yet we are taught that the Holocaust is unique. Well, it isn't any more disturbing then other mass murders in history. If other historical events are open to scholarly debate and questioning, why should the Holocaust be treated any differently? If the facts about the Holocaust all have merit, they will be proven true in the marketplace of ideas -- why the need to censor Mr. Butz?

I applaud Arthur Butz for the courage to question the "facts" that have been force-fed on the world for the past fifty years. This book is a must-read.

Fail. Sorry, weak and an obvious excuse. I've been working the whole time we've been playing pattycake, and still managed to keep up... but then, I do my OWN thinking, while you have to take the time to go and ASK someone what to say.

Admit it or not, you've lost your argument, and your point. You couldn't even give a simple personal opinion. And don't give me that Wikipedia quote garbage. That's like someone asking for your personal definition of happiness, and you answering:

"hap·py (hp)
adj. hap·pi·er, hap·pi·est
1. Characterized by good luck; fortunate.
2. Enjoying, showing, or marked by pleasure, satisfaction, or joy.
3. Being especially well-adapted; felicitous: a happy turn of phrase.
4. Cheerful; willing: happy to help.
5.
a. Characterized by a spontaneous or obsessive inclination to use something. Often used in combination: trigger-happy.
b. Enthusiastic about or involved with to a disproportionate degree. Often used in combination: money-happy; clothes-happy.
[Middle English, from hap, luck; see hap.]
happi·ly adv.
happi·ness n.
Synonyms: happy, fortunate, lucky, providential
These adjectives mean attended by luck or good fortune: a happy outcome; a fortunate omen; a lucky guess; a providential recovery. See Also Synonyms at glad1.

But then again, you KNEW that. I refuse to believe you're actually an idiot, therefore I can't understand why you ACT like one. However, the point remains, you knew EXACTLY what I was asking, and refused to give an answer, while insisting you HAD, which is a HORRIBLY transparent stall tactic, readily visible in ALL politics today, but most notably American, truth be told.

Anyhow, don't bother "answering" later... you've wasted any possible intellectual capital I might have been willing to grant you, and I believe I've been more willing than most. A shame, that, but I still believe that anyone can strive for redemption, so who knows?

At any rate, my weekend begins in five minutes or so, so I'll say farewell, and better luck next time. Critical thinking, JADR... it's IMPORTANT. Please remember that.

Be well, all. hf

Re: WHY THE LEFT HATES ISRAEL? (Wow! Batflaps are hating this thread!!!)
God knows what He's doing and He's going to perform His will despite the many machinations of men -- Jew and gentile

the fact is a nation was born in a day just as He said it would be, it is full of His covenant people disobedient though they are, and they are surrounded by bitter enemies just as the Bible said will happen. it is happening.

there are a BUNCH of prophecies being fulfilled right before the world's eyes -- some see and believe most don't. the Bible also tells of this.

Damascus will be destroyed as prophesied in isaiah 17. no amount of hand wringing or crying will change the Word of God. this city has continually existed for 4000 years but within no time will become a smoldering heap. maybe today or tomorrow. maybe not for a month or several years. fact is the Bible says it will happen and God is faithful to perform His Word -- it will happen. if I lived there I might move.

exact nations prophesied over 2500 years ago are lined up against Israel. yes Iran is specifically mentioned. this would be like one of us predicting a big war in 4500 ad. none of us could possibly begin to know what nations will exist in 4500 ad, nor their geopolitical alignments. but there they are lined out in Ezekiel 38-9. and as they attack Israel, they will be destroyed.

we are told to pray for the peace of Jerusalem, that burdensome stone. the abrahamic covenant whereby the Lord will bless those who bless his descendents still stands. and those who curse them will still be cursed, even these thousands of years later. the covenant was never annulled. I would point out that the Arabs are included as children of Abraham via Ishmael. I wouldn't mess with Jews or Arabs. I would recommend blessing BOTH.

but the covenant line proceeded through Isaac and Jacob -- Jacob became Israel as he struggled with God. Israel means struggles with God. God will deal with Israel Himself, He doesn't need any help from us. yet some remain so blind to Scripture and insist on taking things into their own hands.

this is pride; it will fail. presumption. the Bible speaks clearly against it throughout. the battle is the Lord's, those who serve Him are best off yielding to His will -- praying, studying the Bible, engaging in active fellowship with believers, preaching the gospel, and striving to be conformed to the image of Christ by His Holy Spirit.

the Lord's Word will not return to Him void -- He has told us the end from the beginning through His prophets -- His arm is not shortened and He will be proven true even if every man is proved a liar.

hating ANYBODY is a bad idea -- we are rather commanded to love the Lord our God, and our neighbor as ourself. and this includes our perceived ENEMIES.

I recommend prayer, and Bible study. and see how many times God has fulfilled what He said He would do throughout history, over and over time and time again. this will continue I fully believe

love peace and joy

REASON # 1: Israel is pro-American.

To site but one example, in the UN General Assembly, Israel votes with America more than any other nation. Well, you may say, isn't that because Israel is a major recipient of our foreign aid? But so is Egypt, and it rarely votes with us at the UN or supports our foreign policy initiatives.

Israel is an American ally because it shares our values: democracy, respect for human rights, religious tolerance, the free market and an open society.

But its very support for America makes it suspect in the eyes of the left, which is intrinsically anti-American. Since the left views America as the major repository of evil in the world, it stands to reason that it would have essentially the same view of our embattled allies. Just as it considers America a corrupt, repressive, racist, bully it follows that those nations / governments aligned with us are seen as similarly tainted.

In other words, the left hates Israel for the same reason the left hates America.

REASON #2: Arafat and his thugs, Hamas and Islamic Jihad, are seen as another national liberation movement the Middle East equivalent of the Viet Cong and Sandinistas.

Prior to World War II, the stated goal of Marxism was liberating oppressed classes, workers and peasants. When that enterprise failed spectacularly (witness 30 million dead in the Soviet Union and 50 million murdered in the People's Republic of China), Marxists moved on to national liberation freeing oppressed people from colonial exploiters.

For the left, Palestinians and Israelis fit this paradigm perfectly. The Palestinians are living on land they claim as their's but don't fully control. We are told that they're oppressed, subjugated, denied a nation of thier own. Liberals don't examine the validity
of that claim. They don't ask how the Palestinians got there. They don't look at their record with the limited self-government they have. They don't ask what will happen to the rest of Israel once its border is 8-miles wide at its narrow waist and with the Palestinians armed with rockets and mortars-controlling the high ground of Judea and Samaria -- allied with Syria, Iran, and Iraq.

All they know is the Palestinians are "An indigenous people." The Israelis are denying them elf-determination. That's all they want to know.

Actually, if Ariel Sharon wore fatigues and had a three-day growth, he'd probably improve his standing with the left.

REASON #3: Along the same lines, the Middle East conflict is seen as a power struggle between a Third World people and a transplanted European colonial power.

Thanks to multiculturalism, the left believes that morality is determined by ethnicity and income. Compared to Israelis, most Palestinians are relatively poor. For the left, poverty is a mark of virtue.

It's quite true that Israeli society reflects the Western values mentioned earlier, not withstanding that today many Israelis are sephardim, Jews whose families have lived in the region for millennia.

Whether it's strikers vs. corporate executives, cops vs. accused, the homeless vs. the middle class, black vs. white, oil companies vs. caribou, the left invariably sides with those it perceives as victims. For liberals, life is an endless psychodrama pitting horrible "haves" against saintly "have-nots."

Israel does indeed have the heavy weapons. On the other hand, the Palestinians have the support of the entire oil-rich, populous, armed-to-the-teeth Arab world. Are the Saudi oil shieks who support the destruction of Israel the wretched of the earth? Is Saddam Hussein, who pays a bounty to the families of suicide bombers? Are Syria, Iraq and Iran powerless? When viewed in isolation, the Palestinians appear to be the underdog. However, when they are properly preceived as an advanced column for
the Moslem Arab world, they are hardly an embattled people.

REASON #4: Israel is a Jewish State.

The left is notoriously hostile to religion. (This includes the religious left, which long ago abandoned salvation for social action).
Not all religion, but Western religion. Islam which is viewed as a Third World religion, a religion of the downtrodden has become the liberal's special pet, ironically, given that its agenda isn't exactly synonymous with that of the National Organization for Women and the Gay and Lesbian Advocates and Defenders.

On the other hand just as conservative Christians are drawn to Israel because they see Biblical prophecy therein confirmed, the left is repulsed for the same reason.

In an era of science and socialism, the G-D of the Bible, the G-D of Christians and Jews, was supposed to disappear. But more than any other phenomenon, the existence of the modern state of Israel after 2,000 years of exile, despite overwhelming odds challenges that assumption.

Thus many on the left, who also view the founding of Israel as an injustice, would be happy to see all of the Jews pack up and move somewhere else. The idea of a Jewish State offends their universalism. For a nation to be a Moslem state is fine. But for a country to be a Jewish state is just too particularistic.

REASON #5: It is an article of faith for the left that all people are basically good, that conflict arises from misunderstand- ings and that everything can be resolved by negotiations.

Liberalism thus may be contrasted with Christianity and Judaism. Christianity holds that man is inherently sinful, a condition which may be rectified by faith and grace. Judaism believes that man has both a good and evil inclination but, as the Bible says, from birth man's heart is inclined toward evil. Liberalism believes in innate goodness that man is basically virtuous and corrupted, not by his nature, but by society.

How does this worldview apply to the Middle East? The left blames Israel for fighting terrorism with military force, instead of with diplomacy.

Since Israel is in a position to surrender territory, it stands to reason that if the violence is continuing, its because Israel hasn't given up enough.

What exactly has Israel given to the Palestinians? Since the signing of the 1993 Oslo Accords, it has turned over to the Arabs all of Gaza and 40% of the West Bank including areas with 80% of the population as well as Hebron, Judaism's second holiest city.

In return, Israel has gotten over 600 dead and 4,000 wounded (based on our population, that is the equivalent of 38,000 dead Americans and 230,000 wounded), the destruction of the Tomb of Rachel, and a worldwide wave of anti-Semitism.

Diplomacy only works when both sides are sincere, when each is committed to democracy and the rule of law. (Arafat is
sincerely committed to the destruction of Israel). Negotiations with totalitarians, tyrants and thugs lead to Munich and World War II, lead to the 1973 Paris Peace Accords (the grave of South Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos), lead to our anti-nuclear agreement with North Korea, which we now know Kim Jong II violated all along, lead to Oslo. Nations have been buried with a scrap of paper.

Actually, the left wouldn't mind Israel so much if it wasn't an American ally, if it wasn't a democracy with Western values, if it wasn't a Jewish State, if its opponents weren't an indigenous, Third World people and if it was willing to give them whatever they want and trust in their word for Israel's future security.

Since the opposite is the case, the liberal-left's hostility toward Israel will only deepen. Given the liberal degeneration over the past six decades, it could not have been otherwise.

Look people, this thread, and even giving JADR the time of day, is a waste of time. JADR is a Zionist. He knows it, you know it. You know what a Zionist is. A Zionist puts Israel's well being above virtually everything else, including above their own country, even if they are a non-Jewish Zionist. A non-Jewish Zionist is clinically a psychopath, and can't be reasoned with. They are religious fanatics, and cannot be changed.

A Jew is sub-human trash, and it's not a bad thing when one dies, and most of the world agrees with this. A Zionist however, even if non Jewish, will idiotically disagree with this statement. A Zionist is either a Jewish supremacist, or a weak minded Christian Zionist, usually a Protestant, who doesn't know any better. Besides the Jewish snakes, Christian Zionists need to be dealt with, as their influence on Western Civilization is nearly as bad as that of the Jews. Most Christian Zionists are just misguided fools though, and if the Jewish threat is taken out, they'll be harmless. It's unclear however, if JADR is a real Jew, or just another in a long line of Christian Zionist dupes.

That's all there is to be said about JADR. He's either a Jew filth Zionist, or a Christian Zionist, and he is a religious fanatic. You're not going to change him. Just ignore his propaganda.

As long ago as October 19, 2000, the then United Nations Human Rights Commission (now Council) condemned Israel for inflicting “war crimes” and “crimes against humanity” upon the Palestinian people, most of whom are Muslims.

Notice - this so called human rights council is formed by some of the worst human rights offenders you can find

Controversial country-specific rapporteurs

The UN Human Rights Council has been meeting to determine some of the fundamental procedures that will be used by the body in years to come. It is proposed that "country-specific “special procedures”—the special experts, representatives and rapporteurs who investigate human rights abuses in particular countries—be abolished, particularly those assigned to Cuba, Belarus, Burma and North Korea."[21] Another issue being considered is "whether outside experts and nongovernmental organizations will be able to play a key role in the review; currently, documents provided by the state in question appear to comprise the bulk of the evidence used for the review."[21]

So here - the so called authority on human rights proposed that they should just stop investigating Cuba,Belarus,Burma & North Korea!! lmao

Another example of how disfunctional this council is:

As of January 24, 2008, Israel had been condemned 15 times in less than two years. The UN Human Rights Council, like its predecessor the UN Human Rights Commission, has been criticized by some Western countries for its fixation on Israel while ignoring the actions of neighboring states. This has led to accusations of the organization being anti-Israeli.[32] By April 2007, the Council had passed nine resolutions condemning Israel, the only country which it had specifically condemned.[33][34] Toward Sudan, another country with human rights abuses as documented by the Council's working groups, it has expressed "deep concern."[33]

So the organization you quote has condemned Israel 15 times.
Yet Sudan who has just exterminated 300,000 people - has only been condemned once.

Now your book copy paste claims that this bias commission has been condemned for inflicting 'crimes against humanity' and 'war crimes'

1) For a start, Only the International criminal court can pass this judgment, The United Nations Human rights Council has no power to 'condemn' a nation.

Therefore your book extract is clearly based on total bullshit.

2)According to the ICC, crimes against Humanity as defined as follow:

[link to en.wikipedia.org]

For the purpose of this Statute, "crime against humanity" means any of the following acts when committed as part of a widespread or systematic attack directed against any civilian population, with knowledge of the attack[17]:

(a) Murder;
(b) Extermination;
(c) Enslavement;
(d) Deportation or forcible transfer of population;
(e) Imprisonment or other severe deprivation of physical liberty in violation of fundamental rules of international law;
(f) Torture;
(g) Rape, sexual slavery, enforced prostitution, forced pregnancy, enforced sterilization, or any other form of sexual violence of comparable gravity;
(h) Persecution against any identifiable group or collectivity on political, racial, national, ethnic, cultural, religious, gender as defined in paragraph 3, or other grounds that are universally recognized as impermissible under international law, in connection with any act referred to in this paragraph or any crime within the jurisdiction of the Court;
(i) Enforced disappearance of persons;
(j) The crime of apartheid;
(k) Other inhumane acts of a similar character intentionally causing great suffering, or serious injury to body or to mental or physical health.

Now for you to prove that 'crimes against humanity' are indeed happening - you must show that any of the following acts are happening in a widespread or systematic way

And according to the Rome Statute Explanatory Memorandum:

The Rome Statute Explanatory Memorandum states that crimes against humanity

are particularly odious offenses in that they constitute a serious attack on human dignity or grave humiliation or a degradation of one or more human beings. They are not isolated or sporadic events, but are part either of a government policy (although the perpetrators need not identify themselves with this policy) or of a wide practice of atrocities tolerated or condoned by a government or a de facto authority.

However, murder, extermination, torture, rape, political, racial, or religious persecution and other inhumane acts reach the threshold of crimes against humanity only if they are part of a widespread or systematic practice.

Isolated inhumane acts of this nature may constitute grave infringements of human rights, or depending on the circumstances, war crimes, but may fall short of meriting the stigma attaching to the category of crimes under discussion. On the other hand, an individual may be guilty of crimes against humanity even if he perpetrates one or two of the offences mentioned above, or engages in one such offense against only a few civilians, provided those offenses are part of a consistent pattern of misbehavior by a number of persons linked to that offender (for example, because they engage in armed action on the same side or because they are parties to a common plan or for any similar reason.) Consequently when one or more individuals are not accused of planning or carrying out a policy of inhumanity, but simply of perpetrating specific atrocities or vicious acts, in order to determine whether the necessary threshold is met one should use the following test: one ought to look at these atrocities or acts in their context and verify whether they may be regarded as part of an overall policy or a consistent pattern of an inhumanity, or whether they instead constitute isolated or sporadic acts of cruelty and wickedness.[1]

Understand here - the keyword is "widespread or systematic"

Also understand that war in itself is not a 'war crime'.

You may be able to argue that Israel has committed war crimes .. however this is not the point you initially made.

You accused Israel of Genocide - and you diverted on some lame book extract talking about war crimes...

SO let's get back to genocide ...

According to the ICC:

Genocide/Extermination is the act of killing with the intention of eradicating demographics within a population.

Palestinians (Gaza included) are the fastest growing population in the middle east.

I see no evidences of 'will to eradicate' Palestinians.

I'm still waiting for your evidence

I'm all about truth, fact and thought, unlike some. You still haven't answered, you obviously WILL never answer, and I'm ashamed of you, playing dumb.

At least, I HOPE you're playing...

In conclusion:

A lame book saying nonsense.
A human rights commission with no legal power
(why?? because it just a commission - stupid!)
No ICC indictment
Still waiting for proof of genocide...

bluewings Hiya JADR
Zec 12:3 And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.
Psa 9:17 The wicked shall be turned into hell, [and] all the nations that forget God.
Jer 6:2 I have likened the daughter of Zion to a comely and delicate [woman].
STOCK UP NOW. You should have at least 6 months worth of basics for every member of your household. Stay away from crowds when trouble starts, do not forget water storage, tobacco is worth more than gold or silver, and be kind to hungry children.
