**Tonight's Moon From My Backyard**

Yes, the moon is pretty awesome tonight.

Home page at MSN says tonight the moon is the brightest it will be for all of 2010.

The Moon is too high in the sky for my scope right now, was hoping to get a glance at Mars but I can't see it through all the light pollution. I'd have a good gander anyway try my best to see them both, but it's -20 right now.

I think you are also supposed to be able to see Mars real easy.

Hey guys and gals. Here's a photo I took this evening through my telescope. It's my first time using the camera with the scope, so it's a tad blurry, but neat nonetheless. Hope ya'll like it!

Back in the day I had a 4.5" Meade... I bought it to view Hale-Bopp, & it was incredible.

I could see Jupiter & (dimly) The Great Red Spot, & it's moons.

I could see Saturn & it's moons & rings.

I didn't have a cam set-up, but your pic looks a lot like my nightly view.

I need to explore some more. It's really beautiful out there!

Just went outside fingers crossed for a cloud break. No such luck, I can see a light spot where the moon is! Thanks for the picks- really cool :)
