The Walls of the Prison Grow Ever Higher as the United States Prepares for Total Lockdown of its Citizens

By: Sorcha Faal, and as reported to her Russian Subscribers

Troubling reports have reached us today from the United States that clearly show their Military Leaders intention to put this country under a virtual lockdown, and as we can read as reported by the American Newspaper the Miami Herald in their article titled “To get back to the U.S., pack a passport”, and which says, "By year´s end, the U.S. government will require Americans returning by air or sea from the Caribbean and Central and South America to carry U.S. passports -- a major change in travel procedures for citizens who for decades have been readmitted by merely flashing a driver´s license or a birth certificate.

It´s the first in a series of phased-in security initiatives announced Tuesday. In the second phase, starting Dec. 31, 2006, travelers arriving from Canada and Mexico by air or sea also will be required to present passports. On Dec. 31, 2007, the rule will apply to air, sea and land entries from all foreign points."

That is the interesting thing about good dis-information, it mixes truth with non-truths... what results may be a blurred sense of reality.

"The walls of your bullshit grow ever higher."

Didn´t take long for the ´true blue´ Yanks to come out did it? But, and as always, don´t address the information or their underlying facts....all of which are true of course, but that´s another ´point´ isn´t it?

Here in the UK we´ve had more experience with terroism, IRA and the like, over the past 30 years than you Yanks could ever have.

I don´t think there´s a city in the world that has more cameras than London does either.

But, I can get on a train today and go from London to Paris to Berlin to Warsaw and not once will any official ask for my passport.

We all carry them of course, but it´s not the normal thing to present them everytime you cross a frontier into another country.

I would venture to guess too that even with these new passport controls that if a terroist really wanted to get into America he wouldn´t go to a border crossing.

If I were them I´d just follow the Mexicans into the States....it seems to work well for millions of them a year, doesn´t it?

Every fact the Russian states is linked to the article where it´s said.

Are all of the news reports (around 800 on a Google search) about these new passport controls lies?

Problem was they gave driver´s licenses to many illegal aliens in several states, so that isn´t a valid means of determining who should be able to come into the US. Driver´s licenses are also MUCH easier to fake (under-age drinker still seem to be able to get them).

Comparing going between "nations" in the EU is comparable to going between "states" in the US. We don´t have to show passports to go between (continental) states AT ALL, or carry passports INSIDE the US. They are only required to be shown at points of entry, unlike in the EU. And, you ARE being tracked when you enter and leave. Photographed and databased.

Now tell me, who has the higher walls right now? EU folks who MUST carry passports with them at all times and show them on demand? Or US citizens who will only need to have them and present them when they plan on visiting other countries?

(Not that I´m happy about any of this, but it does seem to be a reasonable and prudent move to improve border security. Faal has his/her own particular axe to grind, in case you hadn´t noticed. I think we need to have another reporter from the US side pointing out the VERY frightening things happening in the EU, Russia, Korea, and China right now!)

Actually no, I get solicitation emails from time to time but the subscriber list for the Russians report don´t cost anything.

I´ve also in the last couple weeks got solicitation emails from: Amnesty International, Greenpeace, Doctors Without Borders and since we´ve got an election coming up about a zillion other such requests.

I don´t know how much things in the Internet world cost but I´d imagin that it´s not free. I get solicitations for donations from many websites every month.

Two that I particular like, and donate to from time to time are RMN and STA.

Back when Elaine had this site I´d donate to her too.

It´s clear to me that SF is a provocateur for the Russian Intelligence Services. The one fact that the blinded seem to miss is the FACT of Russian propaganda.

Yes, the US is considering tighter identity control because there IS a war going on if you haven´t noticed. Roosevelt did worse during WWII and when the war was won, the controls implemented were removed.

The US=Nazi Germany huh. Well Scorch should stop looking outward so much and look inward to the gulags of Russia where POW´s were used in bio experimentation and prisoners are still used in this way.

Totalitariansim is alive and well in Russia. Why doesn´t Scorch EVER tell us about the KGB in her own country. Only fools swallow what she says hook line and sinker. They fail to believe there is such a thing as propaganda. They also fail to understand that Russia is planning to use Islamic terrorism to perform a HUGE attack on the US. It starts with the bird flu outbreak that has now gone human and will be a full blown pandemic by the fall.

Myself and friends of mine around the EU get her email reports and they´re also posted on her website and no one has to pay for anything.

Like I said before too, there are all kinds of religious and secular organizations that ask for donations, and that doesn´t make them bad or anything like that.

The ones that bother me are when you go to read a story and there´s only part of it and you have to pay to read the rest of it.

Otherwise, at least in my opinion, anyone is free to ask for donations to support their cause, belief, organization etc.

First of all, you can´t compare the Russia of today with the former Soviet Union, they´re two different countries actually.

Secondly, the Russian military can´t even manage their home grown terroists in Chechnia, let alone plot and execute an attack on the US.

Thirdly, Russia is one of the most self sufficeint countries in the world. The hold a large percentage of the worlds total oil and natural resources, and one of their largest customers is who?

Re: The Walls of the Prison Grow Ever Higher as the United States Prepares for Total Lockdown of its Citizens
From: www.jrnyquist.com (only for those who want the truth about Russia, China and Communism)

April 1, 2005
by J. R. Nyquist

Those who adhere to doctrines that reduce the universe to an easily comprehensible set of notions, tend to uphold a distorted picture of reality. We are all implicated in this tendency because we all want to understand the world, yet every form of understanding is an abridgment of reality that necessarily misunderstands the whole. Imaginative enthusiasm leads us to a constructive misremembering and a faulty arrangement of fact and context. We believe what we want to believe, and sometimes we see what we want to see. The potentially most destructive distortions are those in which persons or governments are unfairly maligned. The anti-American press in Asia, Latin America and Europe exemplify this process of distortion. The distortion, in turn, fuels terrorism and bolsters the world’s aspiring dictators who are threatened by the advance of freedom. Although the Marxist-Leninist form of communism has faded from Russia, clever and more flexible variants of anti-capitalism and anti-Americanism are forming into a compact mass. These doctrines preach the wickedness of America as the world’s leading polluter, exploiter and imperialist power. “If you want war,” wrote William Graham Sumner, “nourish a doctrine. Doctrines are the most fearful tyrants to which men ever are subject, because doctrines get inside of a man’s own reason and betray him against himself. Civilized men have done their fiercest fighting for doctrines.”

Hatred is a staple of those who seek to unify different forces under one banner. In The True Believer, Eric Hoffer wrote: “Hatred is the most accessible and comprehensible of all unifying agents. It pulls and whirls the individual away from his own self, makes him oblivious of his weal and future, frees him of jealousies and self-seeking.” According to Hoffer, “Mass movements can rise and spread without belief in a God, but never without belief in a devil.” Hitler was once asked whether he sought the destruction of the Jews. “No,” he replied, “We should then have to invent [the Jews]. It is essential to have a tangible enemy, not merely an abstract one.” Hitler’s answer revealed the extent to which he understood the motivating formula of his doctrine. Today the totalitarian movements of the world are linked by one theme, one doctrine and one enmity. America is the enemy of mankind, the exploiter of the poor and oppressor of the weak. Destroy America and a better world will be possible. However dressed up, this is the doctrine of Al Qaeda. It is also the doctrine of the ruling Iranian clergy, of Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez and Cuba’s Fidel Castro, to name but a few.

The anti-American distortion is not only a phenomenon of the Third World, of a resentful Russia or emerging China. “Within some democratic countries,” explained Jean-François Revel, “a subset of the population, some political parties and a majority of intellectuals, were prone to adhere to Communism, or at least support similar ideas. For this crowd, anti-Americanism was rational, since America was identified with capitalism, and capitalism with evil.” Less rational was the Left’s willingness to swallow “the most flagrant and stupid lies about American society,” noted Revel. What troubled the French writer most of all, was the anti-Americanism of “those who feared and rejected Communism.” Hatred of America is a natural tendency in those who resent the second or third-rate status of their own countries. “It is in France that this loss … of great power status engenders the most bitterness,” Revel admitted. The imagination seeks to justify a wounded national pride. “In Latin America, emotional currents are ruled by a very old grudge: the grudge of an America that failed against an America that succeeded….”

Eric Hoffer wrote: “That hatred springs more from self-contempt than from legitimate grievance is seen in the intimate connection between hatred and a guilty conscience.” Thus it is more than sinister that Russia’s president indirectly suggested, last summer, that America was behind the Chechen terrorists who killed hundreds of children at Beslan. There is a psychology of hatred and blame that manufactures lies in the same way that a sausage factory makes sausages. It is often said that once you find out what a sausage is made of, you will never eat a sausage again. The same may be true of lies made in totalitarian hate-factories. Once you know what goes into them, you’ll never swallow one again.

But there is a human tendency to swallow everything. We want to be satisfied. We are empty and want to be full. We want answers, we want conclusions and God forbid that they lead us to further questions. Learning to see, wrote Nietzsche, involves “habituating the eye to repose, to patience, to letting things come to it; learning to defer judgment, to investigate and comprehend the individual case in all its aspects.”

Our tendency is the opposite of repose and patience. We do not defer judgment. More often than not, we rush to judgment. Furthermore, “Seeing is believing,” and all too often believing is a cherished form of seeing (in the absence of intellectual integrity). Consider, in this light, the belief that America is a bad country led by evil men. If only the situation were that simple. Jean-Francois Revel, in a book titled Anti-Americanism, wrote as follows: “The pitying sniggers ritually directed against the American whipping boy by the European media … come for the most part from an ignorance so profound that it seems deliberate.”

All ideologies subvert the truth through a process in which reality is simplified by reduction. “I soon realized that the correct use of propaganda is a true art which has remained practically unknown to the bourgeois parties,” wrote Adolf Hitler in Mein Kampf. “The art of propaganda lies in understanding the emotional ideas of the great masses and finding, through a psychologically correct form, the way to the attention and thence to the heart of the broad masses.” Hitler further stated: “The receptivity of the great masses is very limited, their intelligence is small, but their power of forgetting is enormous. In consequence of these facts, all effective propaganda must be limited to a very few points and must harp on these in slogans until the last member of the public understands what you want him to understand by your slogan. As soon as you sacrifice this slogan and try to be many-sided, the effect will piddle away, for the crowd can neither digest nor retain the material offered.”

The key point in Hitler’s statement is the one about “understanding the emotional ideas of the great masses.” In Robert Kagan’s national bestseller Of Paradise and Power, the author struggles to understand Europe’s double standard in condemning America’s invasion of Iraq. “As the Iraq crisis approached in 2002 and early 2003,” noted Kagan, “many Europeans simply shifted their view of both international law and international legitimacy.” Why did they do this? What was the emotive cause of Europe’s shift? Kagan suggests that, in part, Europe’s double standard is a ploy to constrain the United States.

Envy is a swamp, and a feeling of thwarted ambition lies at the bottom of this swamp. As German Foreign Minister Joschka Fischer once confessed: “The question now is: What will become of the Europeans given the dominant role of the United States? Will they be able to determine their own fate or will they merely be forced to carry out what has been decided elsewhere?” According to Revel, the crux of the matter is very different than that presented by Fischer. “Obsessed by their hatred and floundering in illogicality, these dupes forget that the United States … is also acting in the interest of us Europeans….”

In the end, hatred is about power and influence. More often than not, the hated object is merely “in the way.” America stands in the way of Chinese or Russian or European global dominance. Each man dreams of his own glory, and the more he dreams the more he loathes standing in the shadow of a greater man. In Shakespeare’s play, Julius Caesar, Cassius laments that Caesar has “now become a god; and Cassius is a wretched creature….” Cassius is incensed that Caesar should “get the start of the majestic world, and bear the palm alone.” Caesar bestrides the “narrow world like a colossus; and we petty men walk under his huge legs, and peep about to find ourselves dishonorable graves.”

The emotion is a powerful one. It animates ideologies and moves continents.

Basically put, in 1933 your President Roosevelt declared a National Emergency that´s been continued by every American President since then.

"Until the late 1970s, unrevoked presidential declarations of national emergency, left over from long-past crises, continued to sustain extraordinary governmental authority. As late as 1976 the national emergencies declared by Roosevelt in 1933 and by Truman in 1950 had not been terminated."

Global ´dominance´ by the EU, Russia, China? You´ve just got to be joking!

Let´s do a quick ´reality check´ here:

How many countries has Russia Invaded since the end of World War II? Answer: 2

How many countries has China Invaded since the end of World War II? Answer: 3

How many countries has the US Invaded since the end of World War II? Answer over 60
[link to www.omnicenter.org]

The military budget of the US equals the military budgets of the rest of the world combined.

US Military in how many countries in the world today: Over 148

Russian Military Forces in how many countries in the world today: 2

Chinese Military Forces in how many countries in the world today: 1 (actually a UN peacekeeping mission in Hatti)

Sorry mate, when it comes to global domination the US has the whole world beat hands down.

The problem with Americans is that they never experienced a modern war at home..

In Europe, bombs from WW2 littering around, still kill innocent people. 3 fishermen blew up this week when pulling up a ww2 bomb with their nets in Holland.

What about all the modern souvenirs left by America while spreading ´freedom´?

Only the American soldiers understand what real war is about. Who listens to them? Look how the veterans are treated in America? I guess many prefer to listen to the stars and talking heads parading their power and wealth?

BIG difference between asking your name and demanding the presentation of "your papers" aka a passport.

They always have been able to ask for your driver´s license and registration IF they have a reason to pull you over. Or for your name if you are on the street. Whether you give it to them or not is ALWAYS a matter for the COURTS to decide. These cases move VERY SLOWLY, and are fought for decades. Not a perfect system, but it has seemed to work so far. And, we DO take our governments to court regularly to insist on our rights, unlike in the EU.

Do you even HAVE the right to take such cases to YOUR courts to make sure that they aren´t overstepping their constitutional bounds? Huh? What was that? Didn´t think so. Do you even HAVE courts in the EU that will HEAR such cases? Just curious. How does it work? Does your constitution HAVE a bill of rights?

As for the so called "Patriot Act", in case you hadn´t heard (no, don´t read mainstream media to find out) there is HUGE grassroots resistance to all of these types of unreasonable search and seizure rules. These types of things are attempted every few decades (eg during the Vietnam war protests), and are always beaten back by the citizens. I´d still MUCH rather be here than facing what you folks in the EU face. By the way, where is your right to bear arms, eh?

there are places on the norther border where the front 1/2 of a building is in the US and the back 1/2 in kaNUTa....bote borders have literally thousands of miles of wilderness where the "border" is no more than a clearing, or a fence, or even an imaginary line between survey stakes.

Unless the US wants to build roughly 10,000 miles of sharon/berlin-wall, there aint ever going to be any seucre land border....air and water presents yet another problem.

simple fact is the US "border" is just too damn big to secure.
