TAG Homework #3, circa 1980, 9th grade

Title: TEARS OF RAGE

Body: The world is rife with aggravation. Events occur daily that result in mild stomach upset, Excedrin headaches and stark raving-out-of-your gourd fits. What's your flash point? How angry would you be if these incidents happened to you? Would you move to the suburbs? To Peru? Rank each item according to the scale below. The descriptions are rough. If they do not seem appropriate, mkae up your own description for each level of rage.

1. No Sweat: It just wouldn't bother me.
2. Mild anger: I'd feel it, but I wouldn't express it outwardly.
3. Moderate Anger: I'd scowl, clench my fist or make sarcastic remarks.
4. Clearly ticked: My voice would rise; I'd swear, argue, make obscene gestures or threats.
5: Physical threat: I might chase or threaten with violence the object of my anger. I probably wouldn't actually use force.
6. Fighting Mad: If given the chance, I'd start swinging. I would try to inflict pain or damage.
7. Homicidal: I'd be mad enough to kill. If I had a gun, I would use it.
--------------------

1. A hot-rodder passes you with a roar on the highway, cuts in front of you recklessly, then turns and gives you the finger.
2. You get a package from a relative you don't like with ten cents postage due.
3. A news report says the President is raising taxes next year to cover his expanded defense budget.
4. You made reservations by phone, but the hotel clerk says he's already rented the room to someone who paid in advance.
5. At a football game, a tipsy fan spills beer down your neck.
6. Your father dies during a routine appendix operation because of the negligence of an incompetent intern.
7. A dog tinkles on your leg while you stand at a street corner.
8. You get a speeding ticket for driving only three mph over the speed limit.
9. A guest in your home accidentally breaks a favorite mug.
10. You put 15 cents into a Coke-in-a-cup machine. The Coke comes out with no cup, and goes right down the drain.
11. As you drive home, some children throw mud balls at your car.

Page.2

12. You're playing poker and finally discover that the guy who has already won $20 from you is dealing from the bottom.
13. The judge finds you guilty of a crime you didn't commit.
14. You phone a girlfriend over and over for nearly an hour and get busy signals.
15. At a sporting goods store, someone carelessly swings a tennis racket, hits you in the face and breaks a tooth.
16. A man pulls in next to you at a parking lot and nicks some paint off your car door.
17. Just as you reach the ticket window, they put up a sign saying SORRY, SOLD OUT.
18. You see a strange man carrying your tv set out the door of your home.
19. You sit down to look at a special show on television, when a tube blows.

Interesting stuff AO. A bit before my time (I wasn't in until around '88) but still interesting.

Also bump to catch more strays. Funny how much the world has changed from what they told us to expect in these programs.

Dumb stuff for what dumb teachers think smart kids think about.

What a pleasure it was to escape school, even for a little while.

It was hard to tolerate the accumulated dumbness of school.

Even the programs for smart kids were designed by dumb teachers to teach dumb things.

The agenda was still all evil.

I was put in the mentally retarded minds class where my questions wouldn't prove that the teachers were idiots until the class was laughing at them.

I think if they could have pushed me in front of a bus, many of them would have jumped at the opportunity.

If you are really gifted, you end up their enemy and their target.

This is completely true, and I've been posting on this thread for years. I don't take it personally. GATE burnout is a well-known side effect - they pump you up and then spit you out into a world that makes zero sense. You learn to give up quickly if you want to stay sane.

The only reason I've been as successful as I have (which is to say, not all that much really) is that I am easy to get along with and I am a workaholic with a strong work ethic. I learn quickly but besides that, my time in GATE hasn't exactly left me with great life skills.

As promised--the pages covering protest movements. It's more faded so my apologies for illegible words.

TAG Homework, 9th grade circa 1980, study sheet.

Political Symbols:

What is a symbol? Something that stands for something else. How does symbolism work?

a. Something concrete is made abstract (made more objective by graphics)--a graphically drawn clenched fist, bomb, ??? seal. or
b. Something abstract is made concrete; usually emotions, values, and ideas. Examples: Statue of Liberty, a country's flag, the peace symbol.

Things to remember about symbols:

-There are many kinds of symbols--musical (notes), chemical (h20), folklore (owl=wisdom), Political (peace symbol, dove, clenched fist, flag eagle).
-To be effective, a symbol must be quickly understood and the design must be simple, the message clear, and if a slogan is included, it must be clear. The meaning of a symbol must be limited--ie. the artist and the viewer must agree on the meaning.
-A political symbol may be used as a form of group identity, eg. the Black Panther symbol.
-Political symbols are often repositorien (uncertain of meaning) of cultural/national values.--eg. the flag, the eagle, the Statue of Liberty.
-Symbols are often placed within circles--the circle acts as a frame to the symbol.
-New symbols are always being created; while older ones are forgotten or used in new contexts
-A symbol is sometimes a surrogate on which moral/physical force can be expended without harming society, eg. burning the flag or a draft card is better than killing someone.
-Symbols are a shorthand means of communication...a way of visually thinking.
-Some symbols can be divided into negative and positive:

Negative: symbols of death and destruction: chains, guns, bars, bombs, fire, mushroom cloud, syringe, skull, gas mask, barbed wire.
Positive: symbols of life and love: heart, rainbow, dove, flower. U.S. traditional symbols (eagle, Uncle Sam, Statue of Liberty, Flag)

-Symbols can be juxtaposed: ie. an artist can combine positive and negative symbols to satirize or politically characterize a situation. Examples: put a gas mask on the Statue of Liberty to say something about pollution; create a picture of the flag using barbed wire for both the stars and stripes to say something about our immigration laws.

-There are many kinds of political symbols:
events--eg Hiroshima, Ky Lai, Kent State, Attica, Three Mile Island
graphics--eg raised gun, peace symbol, dove
gesture--e.g. clenched fist, V sign, clasped hands.
act--eg fast, immolation, trespassing/occupying, boycott, strike, march, demonstration, rally, tying a yellow ribbon round a tree, teach-in, sit-in, burning draft card or flag, lighting candle, civil disobedience/passive resistance, refusing to pay a tax and go to jail, vigils, p?llier??, and other acts of noncooperation.
slogans--eg. all power to the people, ban the bomb, no nukes, white power.
persons--Mao Tse, Tung, Che Cuevera, Martin Luther King, Frantz Fanon
songs--eg. We shall Overcome, All we asking is give peace a chance
colors--eg red, black and green for blacks, red, white and blue for US, black flag, red flag.

Propaganda:

What is it? Communication technique used to spread information in order to persuade people/institutions to do something. Originally, Propaganda did not have a negative connotation. Now, however, it does. When we use the word propaganda, we imply that the information is slanted, distorted, biased, full of stereotypes, and lies. Often it appeals to emotions.

Many kinds of propaganda--buttons, rosters, t-shirts, bumperstickers, leaflets, movies, radio, tv, magazine ads, songs, slogans, graffiti.

A group may use more or more kinds of propaganda to spread information about itself and its cause.

Propaganda is often designed to appeal to a variety of emotions--love, hate, fear, patriotism.

TAG Homework, 9th grade, circa 1980.

Title: Protest Movement Analysis Questions

Body:

Questions to ask yourself about any given movement:

1. Who are they? Are they one clearly defined group or a coalition of groups?

2. What are the goals? What change are they trying to bring about? Are the goals clearly definable?

3. How do they specifically propose to change what they want changed? Pass a law? End (ie. stop) it? Fire someone? Change a law (ie. amend)?

4. What methods (tactics) are they using to achieve their goal and/or influence public and governmental opinion? E.g. boycott, marches, guerilla warfare, torture, voting, petition-signing, letter-writing, acts of civil disobedience, propaganda--posters, leaflets, bumperstickers, buttons, t-shirts, tv advertisements, other advertising--lynching, cross-burning, seminars and discussion groups, strikes coup d'etat (revolutions), assassination, indiscriminate bombing, kidnapping, recall or referendum, talking or writing to congressman or president, lobby group, bribery, extortion, etc.

5. Are the methods violent or nonviolent? Make a chart of methods use by a group putting each method under one of the following appropriate headings: Violent methods or nonviolent methods.

6. Who is the enemy (enemies) of this group? What power structure are they protesting against? Government, another group: a religious, racial ethnic, political economic or sexual group, one individual person, an idea, a law?

7. Is the group challenging a social or moral value held by the majority of society? Does the group view itself as having a superior moral code to that of the political opponent?

8. Does the group represent a majority of minority of society?

9. Was the group successful in achieving its goal, ie. making some kind of change. Did it achieve all that it wanted?

10. If the group was unsuccessful, was it repressed by another group?

11. What specific kinds of propaganda did they use? See specific questions about propaganda and symbolism, more deeper analysis of this question. (Note from me: Not sure what this is referencing as there is no page in the file that has specific questions; I presume the intention is to use the political symbols and propaganda page as a point of reference.)

I do hope it is helpful to some of they also had this kind of curriculum. Everything that I posted above was curiously kept together in a black report cover. My guess is that it was some sort of TAG unit. It definitely stands out compared to the rest of the TAG homework which was mostly the kind of stuff that has already been discussed (ie. build your own utopia city, interview a local person about something, TAG personal projects). Nothing else in the entire TAG folder was like what was in this section and nothing else in the TAG folder was written like some of the above things posted were. No heavy clichés, weird questions, and etc.

I'll withhold my opinions of all of what I posted so as not to contaminate opinions though, tbh, I wouldn't mind hearing what others think of it all including what this was about. I know for a fact that I went through this unit. Zero doubt. There might be another page. Will have to check as the US Army footage of Hiroshima victims was also in this black folder.

Anyone remember "Green Sleeves" being played in the darkened room, while your head was on your desk?

I can taste the Tang to this day.

I remember being appalled at the images of death and destruction. I was angry that I was asked to "project the outcome" for given situations.

The launch of a rocket, the mushroom cloud of the atomic bomb, the melting bodies....

Not California but I was in the program in Illinois in the early 80s. Basically what you described. We were often taken out of class for special testing. Got special classes in computer use with early Apples including learning how to program in BASIC, while the normal kids barely ever got to touch a computer. Also got special library sessions were we could just read whatever we wanted. We also got IQ testing every couple of years.

Bbm...

These are weird questions (or weirder than the other weird questions) to ask 9th graders. I guess they could ask their parents for a raise in allowance, or vote in student or mock elections done as a class exercise. But, neither of these things are all that meaningful if compared to asking adults who have worked real jobs or voted in a real (it's from 1980, so people usually believed in elections) election.

These questions are meant to find kids with a bad side (because it's not just doing those things, it's admitting to them on a test). That was something known to be exploited.

I think these questions are for adults although I don't doubt this test was given to 9th graders.

I also have an interesting question - do any of you feel like you are still being monitored potentially? Like certain things have happened in your life and the outcome appears guided and unnatural rather than organic? I'm not really interested in spilling personal details nor am I asking for anyone else's. If you have experienced this, you will know what I am talking about. I'm just curious if I am alone in this suspicion.

Yep. I chose Not to be segregated from the ‘general population’ at social prison training camp. It was 4th grade when they tested everyone. 1976.
Never had any issues teaching myself whatever I was interrested in. Never saw the need to be atound other specific kids at school.

Been here and there in this thread, inclusive of many years ago when it was mad on the front page. Where did we all go? Did we spend years pondering the possibilities of others sharing our story? Was the validation of this ultimate unknown (still) enough to render us more reclusive and elusive? I see this thread pop up now and then. Where did Jane G. go?

I had the odd moment back in my mother's house in the last few years, pretty rare indeed, where I was able to ask about the school bus excursions after school to different destinations in the city. An elementary school child, all alone with limited memory of why, where, etc. She said I never did anything like that when I was at school in Syracuse NY...which I knew to be wrong. She just didn't know about it. She said she would never have allowed it. Hah. Well that didn't mean much because I didn't make it up. Too many graphic moments of that, sporadic blurps like when it was raining and my head was against the window of the bus fogging it up. Then static, no memory. Only of the trips.

We were asked to design a spaceship that could sustain human life indefinately. We had to come up with ways to produce food, medicine, and other life support systems. We just thought it was lots of fun to design this thing.

The funny part about values is this: We probably don't live long enough to know if your values were the best ones. We must die to know. The Danes sold the Virgin Islands to the USA for gold, not US dollars or credit. In todays prices this means they sold the entire lot for about 655 million dollars. A fool's bargain for such a tropical paradise and money laundry. As I told a gold miner near me "People are the real gold" ...But he didn't ask for clarification on that. More like ran away with a scared face. Just another cop caller.

It was a vibrant thread. However our handler aka "Observer" didn't accomplish the mission they sent for him to accomplish.

It became obvious, they were looking for something and also trying to lead some astray.

When you are trying to go up against people with PSI abilities, you really really really better bring a plan that is much better. Sigh.

They mostly moved on to other tactics to try and contain us. Plus, a lot of their worldly plans have been outright foiled or seriously impeded. Even their AI has failed. If it wasn't for their AI, we'd already be onto the better and freer world that most humans desire.

Tick tock as they say. Not sure why they chose to battle the evolving of our planet and species. They knew what the stars told and they still will not surrender. Sigh.

Please be patient y'all. I know it is a lot to ask with all the psy-ops that ask for patience.

Much love.

Those homework questions aren't looking for psi abilities.

Probably that's what all the hearing tests were about.

Re: Were You Part Of The "Mentally Gifted Minds" Program In California Scools back in the 70's?
This thread is so uncanny--so many of us GLPers having similar experiences, yet in classes/programs that were restricted to so few people.

I was tested in 1st grade (1977) and put into a program called TAG (Talented and Gifted). It started off with just speed-reading tests. I thought it was strange, but we all had ruin competing. There were maybe 3 or 4 kids in the whole school (in CT).

Later, we would take taxis from our school to another across town two days a week. We could study anything we wanted out of this huge book, which gave suggested instructions. I remember doing dissection of a frog, history of puppetry (I don't know why I picked that one--boring and stupid), computers, morse code, photography and photo development, electronic music, etc. We used computers extensively, back before most schools had any at all.

There were about 20 kids from the whole town that met like this twice a week.

And, for added coincidence, I am of Irish and German ancestry and also scored way off the charts on the ASVAB test although I never joined the service.

This was my post on this thread a long time ago. I came back here from the thread about the Montauk children a couple of days ago, and I remembered posting, but it took me 260 or so pages to find my entry, lol. I guess that speed-reading came in handy!

Some more things I remember, and some more connections with the rest of you:

1) Although most of what we did was self-directed and free, we were given IQ tests and other tests periodically. I remember asking my mother how I did on them, but she knew nothing about them, and we never saw any results.

2) The "teacher" (director? observer? handler?) was a Mr. Campbell, and he was not part of the school system. He always wore a suit, maybe even a 3-piece suit, which was strange for the teachers in that time. He had a desk in the corner, and we could approach him with questions, or ideas, but he was very hands-off. He would give nudges in a particular direction every once and a while, but not much else.

3) Since then, I have always had a distrust for authority, skipped school a lot but did very well on tests, and at the same time felt very self-conscious and thinking that everyone was watching me and resenting me. I have always, since that time, played down my intelligence to try to fit in, often unsuccessfully.

4) I think that the "abilities" that I have that separate me from most people are a very quick intuition of the bigger patterns and the outcome, and a very keen memory (which has since faltered a bit due to a bad Lyme disease case). I often get in trouble with people because I jump ahead in the conversation three or four ideas/sentences and answer them before they can get their own ideas out. Pisses people off to no extent. I think of it as zooming out from the details and looking at the entire thing at once, and then zooming back in to the important point.

5) I drink a lot, most often to stop the constant music and thinking that is buzzing in my head 24/7.

6) I never really excelled, career-wise. Most of my other friends (all very intelligent but not in the program) went on to be rich and involved in big companies and finance corporations, etc. In my case, I always would rather be free and not fit in to the corporate-man lifestyle. I always chose jobs like carpentry, where I could be in a different place everyday, outside, wearing jeans and a t-shirt, keeping my hair long, etc. Meanwhile, I extensively researched my interests in my off hours (never getting anywhere with them -- usually too many interests and too fleeting).

Reading this thread again, I ask, too, what was the purpose of these programs. I tend to agree with the idea that it was almost to keep us down, out of the main system, and to ostracize us so that we could not disrupt their plans, whatever they might have been.

I wonder, given the recent events, how many of us that were in these programs chose not to be vaccinated since we could see through their plans and zoom out to the bigger picture?

The program was multi-layered and compartmentalized.

Were they looking for those with high IQs? Yes

Were they looking for those with excellence in pattern recognition? Yes

Were they looking for those with a combination of these and who would resist the NWO? Yes

Were there other things they were looking for like PSI abilities similar to the TV show Stranger Things? Absolutely

The Church hearings of the 1970s only covered a small sliver of what they were up to. Know way in hell they were going to let it come out in full of what they were doing to children. The programs just went more into the shadows. Interesting that Joe Biden was an important figure in the Church hearings. Once CIA, always CIA.

We are all in this together. However, just having a high IQ or ability to recognize patterns will not defeat them. Not when you are up against an AI built upon the collective high IQs. They can disrupt your brain in so many ways, send you down so many dead ends, keeping you like a mouse in a maze. Look at general society. This is where we are at and have been for some time. You have to have something beyond these skills to defeat them, hence them trying to also identify and disrupt the "other" skills.

Can you see into the future? Do you follow logic or intuition? Can you see events and people remotely? Do you believe we can communicate through our minds? Can you influence events from a distance? Do you believe in realms beyond our own visible one?

And, lost importantly, can you manifest things into reality and do it to help people and not for your own benefit?

I am stating this not to make that the PSI ability people are better than anyone else. ALL humans are beautiful (except for them aka NWO). We wish that there was more support in this actual physical world than there is, but 99 percent of humanity has been mind-fucked. This being said, their plans are not proceeding as they planned fully. Battles have been won. Targets have been neutralized. And, yes, many have woken up to join this battle - both physical and SPIRITUAL.

You will not see news of these battles on any news source. You won't even find it here on this site. You have to read between the lines. This is where those with great pattern recognition and analysis skills can find the truth. Call it a silent war.

I am not sure what else to add other than that. To assume they would allow this thread to continue without some purpose doesn't seem logical to me. This thread has a reason because they do not allow something without a reason.

That being said. I am not discouraging anyone from taking part in this discussion, just cautioning against its possible purpose. We are in this together.

Much love.
