Listen, I found out what’s going on. You can too. Start doing your genealogy as far back as you can. At one point you will be totally blown away at the person you discover is your ancestor, and all your questions will be answered. You will know for sure why they were doing the culling and the investigating.

I vaguely recall around 75 and 76 and doing some tests and picture questions as well as speaking to a lady with a puppet. The name of the program was called SRA??

I started doing the research this last year and you are on point with this feedback. They had us workshopping lifeboat ethics which I remember taking very seriously. As with other experiments I also recognized at the time the subject was psychologically disturbing for some of my classmates, perhaps myself as well. I'm in awe with the level of manufactured misplaced fear. I'd prefer fear-inducing frequencies being used on tech devices in addition to overt media control.

I gleaned from a covid thread few days ago, a thought I already had but wished not to post for its darkness. The masking of everyone in public along with six feet creates almost complete anonymization and dehumanization of society. Obviously parallel to women wearing burqas and to the extreme end Guantanamo Bay type prisoners with full abduction head coverings. Bit ashamed I didn't know till now. From what we know I'd say it wouldn't be poor taste to use this image as witness not only for the unknown political prisoners around the world but also for where most of society can be headed.

Yep I was too in the 80s but on the east coast. They called it something gifted. They taught us about the Bermuda Triangle and all kinds of weird shit around the world. Really not sure what that was all about.

I was in the program through a small elite private school, we went all manner of places, from catholic retreat centers, private estates, to other private schools to university labs, etc etc.

It’s weird I cannot recall what we did, almost none of it.

SRA was the color coded reading program for elementary students during the 70s.


Finishing SRA so early is what got me recommended into the Talented and Gifted program (TAG).

I still have the 4th grade report card from 1973 that told my parents I was reading and testing at college level.

They had a chart on the wall to track your progress (or display it LOL). I am sure my SRA scores contributed to my MGM status.

Years later, my youngest daughter's school had an "Accelerated Reader" program they did on the computers. Similar thing to SRA.

My daughter was the only Kindergartener using the program, and by the second grade had the highest scores in the entire school. I only know this because I was the IT guy for the district and had access to the program on the server, could download all the reports, etc.

What was the program called about 55 years ago that had us read one line of words on a screen that started slow and increased in speed and then went to partial words and partial sentences to test if we could comprehend the meaning, fill in the blanks with our mind in rapid speed, so to speak?

Yes. Junior year, 1973-74. Southern California. Repeatedly sent to a classroom. People in suits. Images flashed on a screen. Recall tests. Many tests. Yet, mostly a total blank.

I wonder if the program names had to do with the types of testing and enrichment we received? Alot of different names for the programs we were in. Mine was ACT academically and creatively talented program. Was my training different from people in TAG I wonder? To make us seperate pieces of the intended result?
