Re: Confessions of the Illuminati, Ask and I Will Tell What I Know
Okay, I'm taking another wild guess, after some research: You said the product is currently owned by Johnson & Johnson (or was that another poster?). Anyhow, I scoured J&J products and came up with RoC skincare products.

Jay-Z, who loves to tout his Mason connections, always sings about the "Rainman," "R.o.C." and "Rocafella", etc. Many think he's talking about the Rockefellers, which may be one of the connotations, but I suspected it was a acronym for something and dug a bit deeper.

Browsing through a dictionary of Masonic terms, I found out that Masonry is called the "craft" by insiders, and the 33 degree Masons are called "Masters of the Craft" (M.o.C.). So I figured "R.o.C" is probably "Ruler of the Craft," the guy they're all worshipping, aka Lucifer, the topdog among the fallen angels. IMO, when you read it like that, it all makes sense and falls into place.

Also, the roc is a mythological bird that in the illustration on the Wikipedia page looks very much like the American Eagle (another thought -- maybe the American eagle is not an eagle at all?)

Wikipedia says that "The roc had its origins, according to Rudolph Wittkower, in the fight between the Indian solar bird Garuda and the chthonic serpent Nāga, a word that A. de Gubernatis asserted signified 'elephant' as well as 'snake'."

If you look up "Naga," you'll find that the term describes "the Sanskrit and Pāli word for a deity or class of entity or being, taking the form of a very great snake—specifically the King Cobra, found in Hinduism and Buddhism."

It goes on, "In the great epic Mahabharata, the depiction of Nagas tends toward the negative, and they are portrayed as the deserving victims of the snake sacrifice and of predation by the rapacious bird-man Garuda. The epic calls them "persecutors of all creatures", and tells us "the snakes were of virulent poison, great prowess and excess of strength, and ever bent on biting other creatures" (Book I: Adi Parva, Section 20)."

"The epic frequently characterizes Nagas as having a mixture of human and serpent-like traits. Sometimes it characterizes them as having human traits at one time, and as having serpent-like traits at another."

If you want to know more, read about "Naga" in Wikipedia.

So, OP, am I close?

But why would it be American when the Scottish rite are... well, Scottish?

I mean growing up that Michael Meyers joke of "if it's not Scottish it's crap" thing wasn't too far from the truth... You have no idea how many times I had to listen to family going on about "when Scotland ruled the world"...

Or am I just thinking waaay too globally?

But it's funny how those Cadbury eggs have invaded America as of late...... No doubt thanks to that Cadbury Schweps fella, but it's not J&J.

Heh, we had boxes of food ration coupons, those invasion / war currencies, super stale cigarettes, various souvenirs from the "great war", and it's follow up, and lots of other weird crap....

Nothing that interesting to a 10 year old... Other then the pistols & automatics but they never did have ammunition for those. And we got in BIG trouble for playing with them.

I don't mean to hold out on you guys too long, but I was hoping someone on this board would know the item off hand. I guess there are none of us here. I fully intend to disclose this item if none are able to present evidence that they know what it is but please be patient. I highly doubt that any of you are using your best google skills.

Here are more clues:

It's red
It was once owned by a pharmaceutical company

Crap and I was just thinking of those nasty mints in metal tins... aren't they red tins? They certainly taste like some kind of medical byproduct...

Re: Confessions of the Illuminati, Ask and I Will Tell What I Know
Okay, let's pretend it's candy (though Johnson & Johnson doesn't make candy).

There's for example the "Maltesers," malt balls by Mars, which points to the Knights of Malta, about which Wikipedia says, "Christian organization that began as an Amalfitan hospital founded in Jerusalem in approximately 1080 to provide care for poor, sick or injured pilgrims to the Holy Land. After the Western Christian conquest of Jerusalem in 1099 during the First Crusade, it became a religious/military order under its own charter, and was charged with the care and defence of the Holy Land."

If I remember this correctly, in the book "Holy Blood, Holy Grail," the authors talk about the Knights of Malta and/or Knights Templar, who allegedly preserve the bloodline of Jesus. Is that what you guys are after, and is this the candy you're using for identification?

Of course there are other obvious choices, such as Milky Way (as a reminder where the Illuminati/Fallens come from?), or Starburst. Related terms are starburst galaxies (another possible origin of Illuminati/Fallens?), as well as starburst, "a symbol consisting of a star surrounded by rays emanating from it."

The latter two point to a certain location in the universe where you guys may have come from. Snickers, for example, another candy, can also mean "a nickname for the Anticenter shell." Wikipedia: "The Anti-center shell is the name of a region in space emitting 21 cm radiation near the anticenter of the Milky Way Galaxy in the constellation Auriga."

I'm sure there are lots of other candy names that would have similar meanings, but it's getting late. This is a great thread, though... I love playing Sherlock Holmes.

I think i know what the pattern is!!

[link to www.displaycostume.com]

[link to artlandia.com]

[link to www.fastfloors.com]

Is it the Greek "key" pattern? It often appears just below the cornices of neoclassical buildings.

I see this pattern very frequently in my travels, especially in the buildings belonging to institutions of great social power.
