Third Secret of Fatima and Pope John Paul I
Question:
Holy Father, have you been informed of the Third Secret of Fatima, which was supposed to have been revealed to the world in 1960?

Pope John Paul I:
It hasn´t been part of my instruction thus far, but the issue was raised during my work with the Second Vatican Counsel in 1963. We conducted a review of several prophetic documents to affirm the Vatican´s position on the exploration of space and the planets, since at that time the United States had announced its plan to go to the Moon. We reviewed the Fatima documents, as well as those from Ellen Gould White, Anthony Bloom, and Jacques Ellul, among many others.

You need to understand that like much prophecy, the Fatima prophecies are not written to say clearly that such-and-such will happen at a certain time and place. The word of God often comes to people in symbols, since they are personal and have more meaning to the person being touched.

The problem, I suppose one could say, with the Fatima Secret is that it presents symbols that might be easily misinterpreted and create fear amongst those who don´t understand the context within which they were presented. In particular, the Third Secret references elemental forces--fire, water, wind, earth--that represent a more archaic philosophy than currently embraced by the Church. And there is also reference to stars and planetary alignments which is Astrology, and considered by the Church as a pagan work.

But I suppose I´m not answering your question. I intend to review more of these prophetic documents in the future for a more formal presentation, but I can say this much about the Third Secret.

According to our scholars, the Secret concerns the world and Church in the time period from the year 2008 to 2014. There appears at that time a great change in the winds of the Earth caused by a darkening of the Sun, which in turn causes widespread cold and loss of crops. At that time, a king or president appears who uses the calamity to build a great nation and army that becomes a threat to the Church. The prophecy concludes with mention of intervention in the conflict by "strangers" or "angels" with great power and superior wisdom, sent by God, who somehow either solve the problem of the cold, or reorganize the Earth to help the population survive. The warning is for the Church to not follow the leader, but to be patient for the strangers to come.

You can see, however, that some of this prophecy is in conflict with canon, and creates difficulties in interpretation. That is the reason it was not presented in 1960, as additional study must be done to determine how or if the prophecy, among the others, can be properly presented." link to www.godlikeproductions.com] alt='scratching'>

The pope was born during a solar eclipse and will be buried during a solar eclipse.

I find it *very* difficult to believe that such an explosive interview would have remained hidden from the general Fatima community (and Father Gruner in particular) for several decades.

Hyperlink, please. Or admit that you made it up yourself.

The warning is for the Church to not follow the leader(Bush using 911), but to be patient for the strangers to come(GLPers being used by God saving the world). Perhaps?

Oh how I wish it could be true a Stranger from the Beyond like the movie "The Day The Earth Stood Still" made in 1952, that being wanted Peace for all mankind. But now with all the weapons of mass destruction the Governments would blast such a kind, helpful being from beyond if it appears.

Pope John Paul I only reigned for 33 days, so I don´t think that he had enough time to read the 3rd secret of Fatima.

I think also that he didn´t even had time to give interviews either.

"Its content is so drastic that previous Popes were afraid to reveal it. There are even reports that Pope John XXIII fainted upon reading it. When Cardinal Oddi asked Pope John XXIII during an audience in 1960 why he had not made public the last part of the message of Fatima, the Pope responded with a weary sigh, "Don´t bring that subject up with me, please..." On July 11, 1977, Cardinal Albino Luciani, the future Pope John Paul I, celebrated Mass at Sister Lucy’s convent chapel in Portugal. Then, upon Sister Lucy’s request, he conversed with her for almost two hours. He appeared visibly shaken from the conversation. He was later heard to say, “The Secret, it’s terrible.” Also, The late Fr. Malachi Martin, who had read the Third Secret, said that the Third Secret is your worst nightmare, multiplied exponentially. Truly, the REAL Third Secret is drastic in content. The content of the alleged third secret released on June 26, 2000 certainly does not meet this criterion.

THE MURDER OF
POPE JOHN PAUL I

A study by the Abbé de Nantes

This article, from the English CRC for October 1984, is highly relevant today in light of the evident reference to Pope John Paul I, the "Bishop dressed in White", in the Third Secret of Fatima.

Part One: Murder at the Vatican

Part Two: Justice will be heard

quote:

IF HE LOOKS INTO THIS, HE WILL DIE

During the thirty-three days of his reign, Albino Luciani remembered how the priests and the poor of his former diocese had been robbed by the Milanese and Vatican mafia when the Banca Cattolica del Veneto had been sold.

Brazilian Cardinal Aloisio Lorscheider has expressed a suspicion that the Italian Pope, who was born Albino Luciani, did not die a natural death.
