He apparently was only able to do a few more shows after this one......liver damage from too much drinking. He died in 1973 at the age of 28.

Great guys...Very unaffected by thier popularity
at that time. They really enjoyed the east coast
shows..NY, NJ Phila. were all places they loved
playing.Garcia seemed quite shy and reserved.. no
ego like the so called "ARTIST'S" today.Those were
great days..... with thier tye Dyeds amps... one
big happy family

I wish I got to see a concert...the parking lot was as far as I got...I was supposed to buy some tickets for the show from a friend of mine...well I was having a little to much fun in the parking lot...I'll just say it...I was wrecked! lol...and I ended up passing out in the backseat of my boyfriends car at the time...I never did get another chance to see them :(
