Anonymous Coward User ID: 798066 United States 12/24/2009 02:36 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Funny, how under Bush if a democratic governor talked like this all the right wing and tea parties would be calling for them to executed as traitors to the Union. But now that they are no longer in power there ready to run down and pick up arms against the elected government. Truth is if Texas leaves the Union it would be back so fast there heads would spin. A bunch of drunk hicks with rifles against the most technologically advanced military this world has ever seen, not to mention the 1000s of nuclear weapons. Last time a whole host of states tried to leave the union it was a bloody fruitless affair, why does anyone think it would even be possible. This is just a bunch of hot headed politicians trying to make themselves look good to the nuts who are ready to rise up against this government. Truth is just as die hard liberals and progressives are a majority so are the tea baggars and arch conservatives. Most American see this government for what it is the same regardless of whose in power. They realize that nothing is going to change as long as we allow hot heads like these on both sides of the spectrum to hijack the process and drive us against one another. Get a clue, you want to make a change get people together and vote, calling for force will only result in the death of innocent American who have nothing to-do with this mess we call a country. |

And most likely at least 35 other states will be on the Union side as well.. there is a reason many Americans can't stand Texans, its because of their blowhard egos and their false bravado. IN one breath Texans talk all this shit about defending the Consitution in the next breath they are talking about destorying that Constitution by suceding from the UNION in a civil war that would destroy the United States and Texas and vaporize both the US Constitution and the Texas Constitution.
