Had the South Won that Civil War it would have been a bunch of British Colonies openly and so fast it would have spun the Union's head around like Linda Blair's in the Exorsist. Funny, how under Bush if a democratic governor talked like this all the right wing and tea parties would be calling for them to executed as traitors to the Union. But now that they are no longer in power there ready to run down and pick up arms against the elected government. Truth is if Texas leaves the Union it would be back so fast there heads would spin. Last time a whole host of states tried to leave the union it was a bloody fruitless affair, why does anyone think it would even be possible. The way I see it, I have two choices, I can either purchase stuff from private sources or from public sources.. I am forced by nature to do either or both... no one is immune i force seeks to purchase anything... but to be forced to purchase instead of going with out or stealing, well that's just something people seem to have a problem with.. Mostly its about being forced to purchase something period, whether from private or public sources doesn't matter. Just being forced to purchase something, something not right about that entire concept.
