I was headed down there just as she arrived. I would have talked to them, and have confronted idiots doing idiotic things before...but you really don't know how people are going to react. It can be a good way to get killed.

Technically a law WAS broken, they were discharging firearms in a dangerous manner, any lower and those slugs could have hit me, or the neighbors on the hill...but in these misdemeanor reports I believe an officer has to witness it to arrest.

I believe her attending to the matter will have had more of an impact on their attitude than anything I could have said.
