Geese

Those bastards make quite a noise, and are wonderful "guard-dogs". Really. Very protective of their space and quite aggressive. They don't have teeth but they hurt like hell

I found little alarms at "dollar General" for ...you guessed it just a dollar. 2 piece unit sticks on with dbl sided tape, small, unobtrusive and VERY loud.

Cyn, I told you years ago, what you need is "Leroy Brown" :5:

Haven't you found yourself a Man yet?

How ya been my Dear? hf

My friend neverfear! ...glad to hear you are still alive and kicking! hf

I am not looking for a man, my dear. Don't forget Mark 10:12. It is too late in the game for that...I keep my eyes on the Man above-He keeps His eyes on me.

Are you still freezing your butt off up in the mountains?

How did the organic greenhouse gardening go?

Arrggh...NO geese! They foul the water troughs and will destroy my gardens, but you are correct, they make great watch-dogs!

Oooo, nice, but definitely illegal in California!

I'll check that out.

I used to work for ADT and most people don't know you can go out an buy a security system just like they would install on your own and install it yourself.

I would recommend the self contained, wireless GE Simon 3 system. You can set up door, window, and motion detectors.

If you have a phone line in the shop you can set it up to call you and when you answer, will tell you what sensor is triggered.

You can set it up as a silent alarm so it will call you and you can call the Police yourself, or respond yourself.

Of course you can still have it call you and it has a 120db siren.

You can probably get a keypad and all the sensors on Ebay for a pretty good deal.

I'll check that out, too.

Radio shack has everything you need cheap...

A large, hungry dog. Go to the pound.

BINGO!!!

This is a winner.

It is cheap. Mobile. It runs in most all weather conditions. It is intelligent. You can talk to it and it will respond. It is fierce and can pursue an offender. It is relentless. It is not going to run down or quit easily. It will not wear out for at least 7 to 10 years. Operational cost: $5.00 a day or less.

WOW!!!!

A great piece of hardware/software. A pit bull terrier named SARGE!

kitty They do work, and are LOUD. Just make sure the batteries are good.
Zec 12:3 And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.
Psa 9:17 The wicked shall be turned into hell, [and] all the nations that forget God.
Jer 6:2 I have likened the daughter of Zion to a comely and delicate [woman].
STOCK UP NOW. You should have at least 6 months worth of basics for every member of your household. Stay away from crowds when trouble starts, do not forget water storage, tobacco is worth more than gold or silver, and be kind to hungry children.
