The designations of the 4 beast empires. You assigned them to Babylon, Persia, Greece, and Rome. You then concluded that the 4th Beast Empire talked about in Daniel already occurred in the 1st Century.....with the 4th and final empire as Rome.

I am not sure what you are trying to tell me. That Jesus is David? That Elijah didn't come before Jesus?

Some of you need to read Revelations 18 all the way through. This will tell you who Mystery Babylon is, due to the fact some of this has already started.

The Bible is not talking about America here. It is Rome. The city with seven hills. Check out the 3rd Secret of Fatima and see for yourself. Even Nostradamus alludes to the Great City being Rome. And Rome is near a port as well. So people who think that Great Bablyon and the city being destroyed in one hour is America, well think again. Rome was important during Christ time, and St. John is not visioning America 1900-2000 years out when it comes to this.

The reason why I say it is Rome because the 3rd Secret of Fatima alludes to the 7 cities of Rome, and also many cryptic references of Nostradamus. So with other sources pointing to Rome, I am going with Rome as Mystery Babylon that gets destroyed in one hour. Wouldn't be all that surprised really that it happens in 2010. Used to think it was America just recently but new more concrete analysis is now supporting Rome.

I noticed some previous discussion about replacement theology. Here are some scriptures.

You will say then, "Branches were broken off that I might be grafted in. Well said. Because of unbelief they were broken off, and you stand by faith. Do not be haughty, but fear. For if God did not spare the natural branches, He may not spare you either."

Further reading you will note that Israel are the physical descendants of Abraham and the Gentile Christians are the spiritual descendants of Abraham.

God made a promise to Abraham in Gen. 22 for his act of obedience and faith. "By Myself I have sworn, says the Lord, because you have done this thing, and have not withheld your son, your only son, in blessing I will bless you and in multiplying I will multiply your descendants as the stars of the heaven and as the sand which is on the seashore; and your descendants shall possess the gate of their enemies. In you seed all the nations of the earth shall by blessed, because you have obeyed My voice."

Satan through various empires has persecuted both Israel and Christians...perhaps in a vain effort to make God's promise to Abraham void....but God will defend His Word.

After Satan gets thrown out of heaven, he will "have great wrath, because he knows that his time is short." (Rev. Chap 12). He will first persecute the woman who gave birth to the Child....namely Israel. But God will supernaturally preserve a remnant. He will defend His Holy Name and promise to Abraham. Satan will then become enraged with the woman (Israel), and will make war with the rest of her offspring (Gentile Christians), who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ (Rev. 12:17)

In the Old Testament, Israel witnessed many miracles of God but often soonafter would be complaining. Many times God became angry with them....sending plagues upon them. They were referred to as "stiff-necked" people. They chased after foreign gods and even made their children "pass through the fire." As such, God removed His Spirit from their temple, Jerusalem was destroyed, and they were sent into exile.

Daniel inquired to God about how long the punishment would last. 70 weeks were determined to make reconciliation for iniquity. This would have ended when their Messiah came....but as they rejected Him....the final week was postponed until the future.

Israel since the time of their captivity continues under punishment. God has hidden His face from them. Salvation has also come to the Gentiles.

God however will keep the promise that He made to Abraham for his obedience and faith. When Christ returns as King, note what will happen:

"In that day the Lord will defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; the one who is feeble among them in that day shall be like David, and the house of David shall be like God, like the Angel of the Lord before them. It shall be in that day that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem. And I will pour on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplication; then they will look on Me whom they have pierced; they will mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son, and grieve for Him as one grieves for a firstborn." (Zech 12: 8-10)

"Therefore I poured out My fury on them for the blood they had shed on the land, and for their idols with which they had defiled it. So I scattered them among the nations, and they were dispersed throughout the countries; I judged them according to their ways and their deeds. When they came to the nations, wherever they went, they profaned My holy name---when they said of them, 'These are the people of the Lord, and yet they have gone out of His land.' But I had concern for My holy name, which the house of Israel had profaned among the nations wherever they went. Therefore say to the house of Israel, 'Thus says the Lord God: "I do not do this for your sake, O house of Israel, but for My holy name's sake, which you have profaned among the nations wherever you went. And I will sanctify My great name, which has been profaned among the nations, which you have profaned in their midst; and the nations shall know that I am the Lord." says the Lord God, when I am hallowed in you before their eyes. For I will take you from among the nations, gather you out of all countries, and bring you into your own land. Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean; I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols. I WILL GIVE YOU A NEW HEART AND PUT A NEW SPIRIT WITHIN YOU; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. I WILL PUT MY SPIRIT WITHIN YOU AND CAUSE YOU TO WALK IN MY STATURES, AND YOU WILL KEEP MY JUDGMENTS AND DO THEM." (Ezek. 36:18-28)

The scarlet beast which America rides is the European union. world war 3 will also be between communism and capitolism.

Rome was similar to previous kingdoms in that it had a visible King and royalty who ruled. It was not really too different then, say, Greece. Although it conquered many areas, it did not devour the whole world....as their influence did not make it to China and many other parts of the world.

Anyway....note that this 4th Kingdom which has been devouring the world... has 10 kings who arise from it.

"The ten horns are ten kings who shall arise from this kingdom."

Flipping to Rev. 17 we find that these 10 ARE OF ONE MIND. They are united in purpose....they work together.

They are also very powerful and have much authority. When the anti-christ comes, they will give their power and authority to him (Rev. 17:13)

Why???

Because they have decided to no longer rule the world in secret (different from all other kingdoms).....but instead to give their power to the anti-christ to rule as visible kings.

"And the ten horns which you saw are ten kings who have received no kingdom as yet, but they receive authority for one hour as kings with the beast. These are of one mind, and they will give their power and authority to the beast." (verses 12-13)


Try to think about who has had the power in this world over the past several hundred years. Since the French Revolution.....we no longer have had visible Kings/Royalty running the show.
