Tell the dogs that the new members of your family are THEIR kitties, give them treats as you do this.
I did this once with an older cat who was seriously pissed when I brought home a new kitten. She loved the kitten and just refused to talk to ME for a month!! ( no kidding)
Also, be sure to hold the kitten yourself and keep BELOW the dogs so they understand that THEY are still in charge.



Yep, we are having serious dialog with them about new kitties. I don't have quite the command with my dogs like Cesar Millan has with his, but we'll see this through.

I had an Australian Cattle Dog that had superb hunting instincts. I brought home a little black kitten and the dog would sit at my feet shaking and slobbering with wanton desire for a small kitty snack. After working with him for about a week, he and that little kitten became the best of friends and they played all over the house!

She sees one of the dogs outside at the glass door. Since my dogs are Rotts, they look very intimidating!
