Water filtering devises won't last long and most water sources will likely be poisoned... What to do?

You will need to take a Pressure Cooker catch the steam coming out where the jigglier is, pipe it to a container to catch the distilled water so it will be safe to drink!

Live in the moment
all the planning may be useless, depending on the scenario.

Mountains may grow over night and lands will sing beneath the seas.

The area around lake Titicaca rose 5000 feet and the Vedas claim the Himalayas grew over night.
Atlantis ws swallowed by the sea.

Yep it's coming there is nothing you can do if it happens...Just hope it is quick

Certainly good points.

This is strange, even to me, but there is a sense that this is what I came here to live. There has been a driving "need" to learn and experience so many different things (even in childhood) that seem to relate to this time... I will not / cannot ignore it.

I don't know who this information might serve. Hopefully my grandchildren, but if not them, then others. It is only a hope to maintain some continuing form of 'civilization' and being able to rebuild with sanity rather than a repeat of surviving as a species, but falling into total savagery.

Don't get me wrong... I don't know that this is an inevitability at all. Things are just shaping up in such a way as to make me think it is certainly a probability.

On another note...
Does anyone here have experience with Earth Changes Central?

Some say that. Others say they are teachers of vision and stealth.

I prefer not to think of them as witches familiars, but to appreciate those lessons they offer. There was a beautiful white owl that roosted for a time each season in a tree near my childhood home. It taught me how to be still and, in some ways, how to hunt.

The Anunnaki planet -- Some call it planet X -- orbits the sun on the opposite side from the earth. Its orbit is very close to the sun and puts it almost within the solar corona. It has gold dust suspended in its upper atmosphere which reflects heat and radiation from the sun, keeping temperatures on the surface quite cool. Especially on the dark side. This means the planet must orbit the sun once every 365 days just like the earth does, only its on the opposite side of the sun and invisible to us. The gold dust is the source of the myth that they came to earth to mine gold. They actually did the gold mining on the moon.

spock
Hmmmm... I can't seem to wrap my head around that one. Doesn't seem like That would cause any cyclic planetary chaos here... just sayin'.

I'm still chasing links and doing some reading on this. Appreciate the responses and don't mean to ignore anyone, but wow! there are a Lot of diverse thoughts about Earth changes out there!
 Quoting: SouthernLight

Ok this is a Planet that travels between to solar systems and most of it's time is spent in the middle the neutral place, it makes this trip about every 3600yrs.
As it comes into a Solar System it falls in to the gravity well of the Sun, The Sun slows it down (Gravity repulsion) and it go under the Sun's South pole as it go under the Planet North pole points at the Sun's South pole the whole time as it swings by.
Then as it is only propelled by what is left in it's forward movement. as it go though the equinox it is fighting a lot of energy that returns to the Sun in that area the North and South poles are standing, but it is now peeking up though the upper half of the equinox and some times the Sun pulls on the South Pole of The Planet forcing the North pole in toward Earth's North pole causing the EQ's in the ring of fire! It is Moving Slowly but will Quicken when it pulls above the Equinox the the Sun's Repulsion will force it out as it is to Big to that close to the Sun!

That's exactly how I feel. I've felt this way ever since my first spiritual awakening at age 16, and now I'm nearly half a century older... Starting to feel like I may not be physically strong enough to endure the Earth changes, even if I still have the will to live through them.

At this point it seems that the the big drive to Live it All was actually about my maturing as a spiritual being, living out karma's debts, and becoming fully settled in the truth of life. I do hope that I can pass these lessons on to whomever might need them. In the meantime, I wait and see...

I know several primitive distillation methods, but one of the kids (with a bio-chemistry degree) tells me that certain chemical pollutants will vaporize at or near the same temperature as water. IDK. Checking around for more info on this. There must be a way to filter this out... I'm a believer that nature has answers to most of our dilemmas.

Re: Let's assume that Planet X is real...
PX, huh... While PX may or may not be an issue, the survival issues are still the same. So if we were to be hit by an asteroid is it PX? Maybe not but the same conditions could exist.

Survival is the same. Learning your surroundings is key to survival. Your environment will dictate the best course of action.

Water: essential in any case. Clean drinking water is easily produced by several methods. Distillation is easy to accomplish in most survival scenarios...

[link to www.thefarm.org]

Food: Katch, Kill, or Kultivate... Simple, huh??
Well, not meaning to make a pun but all are basically self explaining. Many things caught can be cultivated... rabbits for instance... Wild rabbit can be caught and bread in many bunkers. their dropings can be used for fertilizer for shrooms and worms, sunlight not an issue.

Shelter: Bunker, cellar, cave... Personally I would prefer not to live under ground for very long. However, we aren't making the rules. Extended stays under ground could be boring and possibly lead to mind issues. But, if you have to live underground for some time, the above list will help keep you busy and should help with the solitude and darkness.

Best case scenario: Water, Food, Shelter... Build a cellar or basement (BUNKER if you will) and supply it with enough food, and water to sustain the amount of people that will be there for a few months, a year would be better. Rotate the supply through your household on a monthly bases and keep the fresh stuff for the stock pile. Learn how to recycle "everything"... what you throw away may have value for the coming changes (an empty coke can, can become a reflective surface, a drinking cup, a water distiller, a cooking pot...) you get the idea...

My comments may seem trivial and common knowledge, but in the END you may not think so...

Good luck in the future and be prepared....

Many extrasolar planets, discovered outside our solar system are found quite close to their sun. So, the idea is not that radical. How they control their planet's orbit around the sun must be a matter of superior technology.

Wraithwynd:

You assume a great deal.

Have you considered the fact that PX has been orbiting the sun with us for a billion + + years?

Now try out your math.

If your logic was valid, we would not have the fairly well behaved set of planets orbiting today quite nicely, thank you.
There must be some other sets of influences keeping the solar system in play, no?
