The answer is merely your religious opinion. It has no basis in reality.

I wrote it because I found similarities in the content of some of your posts and that preacher I was referring to. It reminded me of that time in my life.

I deserve Hell, but I am no longer headed there. I was born again by the grace and mercy of the resurrected Christ.

It was by a loving person who witnessed Hell and Salvation to me in a way that was kind, patient, and tender that I received the true Gospel. Yet, even though that witness was tender, that witness was still strong and straightforward enough to get the reality across to me, with no fluff. It also made sense to me logically speaking. A good teacher can explain why he believes what he believes, and it will transfer and compute to another person IF the truth is God's truth. God's truth makes logical sense.

I am speaking as a listener of you, an observer. I'm just telling you what I see, without mincing words. I am also sharing how I got saved and what drove me further away. It may not mean a thing to you, who knows? Take whatever you will and discard whatever you will. Even discard all of it if you wish.

but I did all that I was taught to do... if I felt led by the lord to accept jesus as my lord and savior I was to come forward at the alter call...make my profession of faith, pray the prayer of salvation and then be baptized. I did all of that... and of my own free will because I wanted to love god and do everything right to avoid burning in hell when I died... so i was taught the way to avoid this was to do the above... I worried about every little sin and went on mission trips and on and on and on... but questions kept coming and who better to answer them than people in the church that taught me all this stuff...

so first I am told I am probably not really saved... then later I am told I am probably dealing with a demon in me... nice.

someone else who couldn't answer my questions said that I was being rebellious and was out of the will of god... okay.

others to whom I went for answers told me I just had to have child like faith and it was a sin to question the mysteries of god.
there's lots more but you get my drift.

so out of this I decided to look for the answers myself...outside of this religion that had no answers.

in a nutshell... I discovered that I was NOT BORN DAMNED.
There is nothing I need to be saved from in this life and I am not going to be punished for all of eternity for making this determination when I set out to seek and find the truth.
I am not deceived, I have been freed from ignorance, myths, manipulations and the fear that is a creation of men and entities with negative intentions for mankind. I have done nothing BUT seek the truth and for that I DO NOT deserve eternity in a hell...to answer your question, but your question is based on fairy tales so it is really moot.

Some people come to Christ because they know they need him and are lost so they are ready for the Message of Grace.

The people here are have to first know they need God, before they can receive Grace.

So once he has judged and you are found guilty you shall be cast into hell.

There is no hell in my belief system.

For your own contemplation, aren't you glad you were born in the western world? I mean, otherwise, you'd believe in whatever religion all your neighbors and your parents believed in, just like over 2/3 of the world.

Wow, thank goodness your geographical location of birth was so fortunate that you'd be born where the "only true religion" is popular enough that your parents, teachers and guardians could brainwash you into the right religion.

No you answered my question you answered that you were not born Damned.

Ok so I will go with that, but did you do anything in your life that now means you are damned?

if religous people spent half as much time tending to their own sins and faults, as they do trying to tend to others sins and faults, then perhaps they would be a fairly good act to follow
