You're off your rocker, Preacher Bob. I only came to recognize christianity's beloved Doctrine of Endless Hellfire as a falsehood after a great deal of seeking and prayer and even fasting. We all deserve hell Bob, that is clear to anyone. I don't think most people on this forum think of themselves as "GOOD", certainly not in the terms that God relates to "good" in the Bible, if that is what you are referencing.

Who, in their right mind, would believe they could force God, an omnipotent being, to do anything? Furthermore, if you have encountered a person who believes they could "force" a being of such awe and magnitude to do their will and you acceptable that person as sane and reasonable, what does that tell us about you Bob?

To be frank, or jim, or joe, or billy, I don't hear much talk about either Heaven or Hell Bob, certainly much less of the latter, except in reference to surprise or anger, as in "What the hell is that!?" or "Why the hell did you do that!?"

Perhaps the real question for you Bob, is what makes you ask such questions?

Are you struggling with our faith, whatever that might be? Do you have a faith or belief? Are you just projecting your own doubt and fear upon the forum and it's readers? Are you just trolling to perhaps tangle someone in what you feel is an nasty little web to put you in a position of perceived dominance or power to you can lob countless insult that said persons direction? Do you have a persecution complex?

You should try to look at what is there and not what you want to be there.

Logic and Reason may be thought of as the first order of intelligence. Higher orders require Trust aka Faith and a discerning spirit made possible by obedience, redemption, and a loving God.

Only partial/often wrong answers are available without access to the full body of scripture and the principle of continuing and personal revelation.

Jesus then told them this story:

The kingdom of heaven is like what happened when a farmer scattered good seed in a field. But while everyone was sleeping, an enemy came and scattered weed seeds in the field and then left.

When the plants came up and began to ripen, the farmer's servants could see the weeds. The servants came and asked, "Sir, didn't you scatter good seed in your field? Where did these weeds come from?"

"An enemy did this," he replied.

His servants then asked, "Do you want us to go out and pull up the weeds?"

"No!" he answered. "You might also pull up the wheat. Leave the weeds alone until harvest time. Then I'll tell my workers to gather the weeds and tie them up and burn them. But I'll have them store the wheat in my barn." (Matthew 13:24-30)


After Jesus left the crowd and went inside, his disciples came to him and said, "Explain to us the story about the weeds in the wheat field." Jesus answered:

The one who scattered the good seed is the Son of Man. The field is the world, and the good seeds are the people who belong to the kingdom. The weed seeds are those who belong to the evil one, and the one who scattered them is the devil. The harvest is the end of time, and angels are the ones who bring in the harvest.

Weeds are gathered and burned. That's how it will be at the end of time. The Son of Man will send out his angels, and they will gather from his kingdom everyone who does wrong or causes others to sin. Then he will throw them into a flaming furnace, where people will cry and grit their teeth in pain. But everyone who has done right will shine like the sun in their Father's kingdom. Also, Jesus identified some of them.

You are nothing but snakes and the children of snakes! How can you escape going to hell? (Matthew 25:33)

Note how Jesus says that the preachers back then are snakes and children of snakes. He says they can't escape going to hell. Why can't they? Couldn't they repent? Apparently they can't repent, because they are on the wrong team. They are goats or tares. Jesus doesn't want them, because He wants His sheep and His wheat.

No it was not but because of them you are born with a sinful nature, and in your heart you seek only wicked things.




But because God loves us, he has given us a way to be with him, Christ paid for our sins, and has offered us a gift, you have to accept this gift.

If not, you will be under sin.

It is like a drug addict, you are a slave to sin, you can not fix yourself if you could you would have done so already.

But once they are it is a burden lifted from ones shoulders.

i don't live this way to "earn" anything.
I don't believe in Heaven or Hell.

All i know is that I'm "good" enough to be happy and content with myself, my family, and my life.
