With your life shortened? If God gave you the ability to FAST FORWARD your WORK HOURS but you still got a paycheck, would you do it? Meaning, 8hrs (avg) of your life are deleted each day five days (avg) a week (16 hour days except for the weekends). And keep in mind, this is with an understanding that God has given you a fixed number of years to live (unknown to you). So, if you do the math it looks like this (and of course, the numbers below may vary depending on God’s fixed number for you): 40hrs x 52 = 2080 hrs are deleted from your life each year 2080/24hrs = ~87 days are deleted from your life each year 87 days x 50yrs (~avg lifetime employment) = 4350 days are deleted from your life 4350 days/ 365 = ~12 years are deleted from your life WOULD YOU DO IT??? This will tell us a number of things including whether you like your job or not.
