Re: Reincarnation and gender
I have my own thoughts on the subject, which I'll delve into later in this thread.

It seems it might be difficult for many men to consider that they had incarnated in feminine, physical forms in the past, which I understand to a degree.

I'd like to hear from females who think they may have incarnated in male, physical forms also.

Any thoughts? Hoping to learn something in this thread.

i've been told[by psychics, past life readers], that i have spent more lives as a male.
this life i wanted to be female and have babies !
not sure i want to be female again, if i have another chance at life here....
leaning more towards asexual !!

Re: Reincarnation and gender
Yes it is true that when you meet your Twin Flame you KNOW this. I in fact didn't know the term "Twin Flame" until after meeting her, and then after doing a little web research, was lead to the bottom of the following page that explained to a "T" everything that we both felt for each other...

[link to star.goddess.tripod.com]

Meeting your TF is unlike meeting anyone else. In fact no one else even comes close. I've meet and had two loving relaltionships with two other soul mates in my lifetime, but meeting my TF blows away meeting the soul mates. The TF reunion was electrifying magnetically intense mutual attraction and love beyond your wildest imagination. Better than any romance movie or novel. The attraction ignites ALL your chakras at FULL BLAST on ALL LEVELS: mental, physical, spiritual, etc.. The only conflict we've experienced is that the timing has never been right yet for us to join in a lasting way. This apparently is common in many TF reunions.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 681414

A few years ago, I had a relationship with a woman, which lasted for less than 6 months, but had a huge impact on my life. Considering it's duration, it had more effect on me & my life than the last 5 years of my previous relationship.

It was a roller coaster ride, but when it was good, it was amazing!

Being able to convey how much we loved one another without the use of words or even body language, was one of the more mindblowing aspect for me, and her too I think.

I would look into her eyes and ask "Can you feel how much I love you?" and as soon as I'd asked, she'd say "Oh, yeah.."
Maybe she was more than a soul mate, and our 'timing was out' as you've said can happen - that was a big thing for her- timing. She once said "You're not ready for me!".
I said "Maybe you're not ready for me!"
I left it at that from then on, and let her think whatever she wanted to.. she was manic depressive, so was inclined to change her mind about things quite a lot.

Nobody has ever had so much affect on me and influenced my life as much as she did.

I'm in almost daily contact with Saxon (777) on another site, so the answer to your question would be yes. :)

My initial question related more to different genders in previous lives, but I'm happy pretty much whichever direction things go in.

Celtic,

You and others may be interested in this book: Destiny of Souls by Michael Newton. I just finished reading it and it really got me thinking about what happens in our life in between lives. Newton's got a PhD and has spent his career in regression hypnotherapy. In Destiny of Souls he recounts 67 of the thousands of case studies who describe their experiences in between lives. There's lots of great stuff in here if you like learning about our souls and the afterlife.

In his experience, to answer your original question, he says that there's around a 75/25 split in your incarnations. Or that 3/4 of your time in the physical is spent with your predominant gender. Of course, this may just be true for here on Earth as other planets in our grand universe may have different ratios. It's also likely that many galactic races are androgynous as well.

Here's the link to Amazon for the book: [link to www.amazon.com]

Take care!

Reincarnation has no purpose. Doesn't even make common sense. Returning to a world that is impossible for spiritual growth since you have no previous memory of having past lives.

Even if it did exist in some fantasy world, gender has no purpose. Doesn't matter if you are female or male. The only purpose of the sexes is for reproduction.

Being reincarnated just so the 'soul' can do something over and over and over until it gets it right is a waste of universal resources and answers no universal need.

Only those who refuse to see themselves as ceasing to exist in a physical world believe in this theory.

Death can be hard to take without some sort of imagined escape.

If this is true, why do so many people have past life memories, or feel that certain places and historical times are familiar? It can't be just genetic memory because maybe their ancestors are of a different race or nationality than the past life memories.
I have heard the theory that gay people are people who have mainly been the opposite sex in other lives and have trouble adjusting to the gender they are now. I don't think it's true that the only purposes of the sexes is for reproduction. Each gender has it's own set of emotional and mental traits and are expected to live within the boundaries of what is expected from their gender by their society. It makes sense that if a man in this life was a woman in a lot of other lifetimes he would carry over a lot of feminine traits and emotional characteristics into a future life and inwardly feel more like a woman.

Having just one life serves no purpose for that matter.

Doesn't even make common sense.
 Quoting: Huntress

"Common" sense is why you're in this mess.

Returning to a world that is impossible for spiritual growth since you have no previous memory of having past lives.
 Quoting: Huntress

You have no memories that is correct, but you have the most important thing carried over, character and attitude, beliefs, opinions, etc, etc. Memories of actual events aren't needed since those memories would be counter-productive.

You'd just end up being some sort of weird past life stalker.

Even if it did exist in some fantasy world, gender has no purpose. Doesn't matter if you are female or male. The only purpose of the sexes is for reproduction.
 Quoting: Huntress

Not quite, being female or male brings about their own unique experiences. Become too masculine or feminine though and you'll be gay in the next life to balance yourself out. Women wanting to be like men is never a good thing. As a whole though people tend to stay the same gender.

Being reincarnated just so the 'soul' can do something over and over and over until it gets it right is a waste of universal resources and answers no universal need.

No real universal need for the sun to be billions of years old when you think about it. It is though.

Anyway you kinda get reincarnated because of the soul. That's the all powerful force that keeps people's spirits "locked up" in the flesh.

Only those who refuse to see themselves as ceasing to exist in a physical world believe in this theory.
 Quoting: Huntress

Even those who don't believe in that theory end up back here anyway. It doesn't matter what you "believe" in fact that tends to be one of the major reasons for most being here.

Death can be hard to take without some sort of imagined escape.
 Quoting: Huntress

Wait until you are dead, and the time comes for you reincarnate here again. That's even harder to take, full in the knowledge that your memory of your past life, and your current personality is going to quickly vanish into that new baby body of yours (second death). You literally burst into the world crying.

The "Pleiadians" say our soul chooses our gender and country of birth of our next incarnation.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 579707

That is actually true.

But the Pleiadians don't actually exist..

In truth right now your future experiences on Earth and in death are being worked out by the soul. All depends on what you think and feel about in life really. You get what you deserve.

Re: Reincarnation and gender
I'm 100% sure that the whole idea of reincarnation is to "experience" and that includes both sides of the alley, and perhaps the unofficially but nevertheless undeniable third condition.

That said, I know of a woman that claims in her past life she was a male, who violated and killed a daughter, who she swears that now is her father in her current incarnation, and they love each other fraternaly and intensely as a sort of "healing process".

I'm almost sure in my last incarnation I was a badass and proud nazi officer that died in the 2nd WW in a nasty way. I'm sure I was a nasty mother fuckr in that incarnation, and now I am as peacefull as you can get people to be, but I have certain dark areas that I cannot explain, as an example, I am known to be a natural racist since my early years, though I am not even what you could name a white, mostly I look like an arab.

If I have to say what I learned in that nazi life, is that there is always someone bigger and strongr, so being superior is just a flimsy ilusion

I Can't remember other incarnations consciously, sure would like to know more, but I have some sort of reluctance to do so as I think we are not intended to remember those lives, just what we learned on those lives.

Cheers!

That's interesting to me. My past life was as a nazi soldier. I died in '42 ( I think). I hated it. I refused to fight in a war I couldn't believe in. I got shot in the trench by one of my own guys for failing to raise my rifle. He was pissed when he came down the trench at me. But I stayed calm and held my truth.

Who tells You a male can incarnate as a female.

Males incarnate as males.
Females as females.

However, every Soul does have a Twin part.
That part can have the experiences of the 'other' gender.

And that experience can be exchanged.

Even Angels do have a gender, a masculine of feminine
energy they prefer to expose.

So I understand all the theoretic discutions relating
to this topic, but I have to disappoint those
who belief such.

But of course You can believe what You want.

The "Pleiadians" say our soul chooses our gender and country of birth of our next incarnation.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 775719

Nope.

One Masculin part makes his experiences,
the Female part makes her experiences.
Somethimes both are incarnated into
matter, sometimes one guards the other,
or both are not incarnated or they are not
aware of each other.

But on the Higher level it is all You.
So the experiences can be exchanged.

But the Pleiadians don't actually exist..
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 775719

Look above at night.
They do exists.

All those tiny lights are stars, suns
And arround those suns,
there are planets with life.

'The Pleiadians' who did (do) visit Earth,
are a race from one of those Stars.

All the Best,
