BRIEF AND TO THE POINT
User ID: 381742 United States 09/18/2009 11:18 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I've heard that the men grow mustaches as a sign of status or manhood. The thicker and bigger it is the better. Poor people do poor people things, and rich people do rich people things. You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is the beginning of the end of any nation. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it! when you rob Paul to give to Peter ... ... ... you will always get Peters support! :Brieffromnativea: |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 461622 United States 09/18/2009 11:31 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | What you are most likely seeing are Dominican and other spanish-speakers many of whom have come by way of Puerto Rico passing themselves off as citizens of the USA. Many have phony papers and it is pretty easy to fit in as a group when you cannot distinguish the different spanish accents. Puertorricans have fit in very well in the mainland and many have moved to the suburbs. Many are professionals. During the 50's they were the ones working in factories and sewing the dresses for the Fashion District. They opened many "Bodegas" (grocery stores) which are now the mainstay of many Dominicans. Just how do you "know" that the people you see are Puertorricans?? |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 772407 Puerto Rico 09/18/2009 11:40 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Puerto Rico belongs to US deparment of energy as EXPERIMENTAL STATION... Lates experiment is to have it Broke by transfering all the money to subzide expensive overevaluated taxing .. the 3.3 billion deficit of current goverment Equals the same amount given to Subzidize the real state loans of with 96,000 had already failed because the goverment who gave the loan helps fired the people taking the loans ! The change of goverment from one political party to other did no help as current goverment goes to sing 970million more on overevaluated real state (to save banks & big interest ) capitalizing the money ..... and they privatized the debt by raising property tax 50% and planing a real state property value reevaluation ... You walk the streets and 90% of the bussines has closed down BANKS are destroying Puerto Rico Economy with US goverment help ... And Banks will destroy the US as well . |

"What a load of crap the governments have sold the people" he use to say... And I know he saw many things..cause I was with him on one particular night when we watched UFOs over Baton Rouge, Louisiana for about two hours with high powered field scopes...naw you'll never debunk what I saw that night, and about 15 other men to boot...they watched too... Kinda like.."Why don't you Kiss, Kiss this..and I don't mean on my rosy red lips.." |
mostec15 User ID: 774021 Puerto Rico 09/18/2009 12:44 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Is funny, but when you look for data about Puerto Rico and their citizens, you wil find that most of their people are decendent of jews, bless people from Higher Ground. Some can smash them, some can pour their envy and leaved them almost dead, but their is a "special blessing" that no body can explain. We (i'm from PR) have one of the biggest karstic area in the nothern part of our island. As you explain, we have many oppresion (US destruction weapon)in our land, affecting our good people. If you like to undestand more, come to Puerto Rico and see the Hand of the Creator in our land and in our people, good people. 100x35 miles only...and all the pirates, empires from times to times want our blessing, but never can take from us what is give from G-d, bless it be His Name. We understand that is a "PROCESS" that we have to pass, because of our generational damnations or our own errors, but, after all... we are bless by HIS will. Come and see Puerto Rico and our people. Many special people. |

After throwing trash all over the place and doing anything they can to cause crime sure the US looks good. And before you try and crap on this just look at the decline of any us city where the pr population has dramaticLLY INCREASED--- HOUSING values gone way down, crime rates up, litter all over the place... FACT! |

mostec15 User ID: 774021 Puerto Rico 09/18/2009 01:07 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I bet you that Wiki is wrong, because according to PR Government Data, when they say that unemployment rate is 18% now... multiply by 2 and you will see the difference. I'm a sales (IT tech) for more than 25 years and now i have 5 years unemploy and i don't thing they (PR Gv.) know about me or even if i exist. As me their is a lot of good professional without a decent salary. I keep on study and i have a Plumbing license, Plaguicide License, Farm Administrator diploma, Fed. Police Chaplain License, and so on, but no a decent job, at least as a sales person. ¿You think that problem will dull/opaque our greatness of be ready as a professional? No way, studies never "over qualified" us, but give us a better quantity of tools to succeed as a professionals in Puerto Rico or around the world. odd stats from wiki: Quoting: Simpleman 773964The island unemployment rate is 12% as January 2009.[78] Puerto Rico is the fifth largest worldwide consumer of U.S. products. __________________________ how can a little bitty island consume more US goods than all but 4 countries???? this cannot be correct. their incomes are less than half of Miss. and they are the lowest in the US. very strange indeed |

I lived in PR for years, still have friends there. Bases are closed, nothing secret in El Yunque, Vieques is recovering nicely. Conspiritards should imagine stuff about places that are more out of the way. "Heard about Tierra del Fuego???" |
